Jiawen Xue Tops 968 Entry Field to Win TLPT Jeju Circuits Main Event For KRW 330,000,000

The TLPT Jeju 2026 Circuits Main Event has come to an end inside LES A Casino, Jeju, South Korea, with China’s Jiawen Xue outlasting a field of 968 entries to claim the title and KRW 330,000,000 (~USD 224,085) top prize.

Xue came into the final day second in chips and as the last female player standing, but by the time the final card hit the baize, she was the one lifting the trophy. She defeated fellow Chinese player Haiyang Wang heads-up after a short battle, closing out a dominant final table display in which she seemed to be involved in almost every big spot.

The tournament generated a KRW 2,100,000,000 (~USD 1,400,000) prize pool, with Xue turning her deep run into the biggest prize of the series so far and her largest ever score according to The Hendon Mob.

Final Day Action

Just 16 players returned for the final day, with Kai Shi leading the way, while Xue sat comfortably in second. Yinchao Shen rounded out the top three, and all sat at the same table to start.

The early stages were not short on action. Chenxin Yu was the first player to fall at the hands of Di Jin's flopped top pair. Xingyu Liu and Disheng Gan followed soon after, before Furui Wang got his last few chips in from under the gun and ended up with seven-high.

The tournament then moved closer to the final table bubble, with Tao Lin falling in 12th and Zheng Wang running kings into Jin’s aces to bust next. After that cooler, the tournament went hand-for-hand with ten left.

The final table was set when Yi Yang three-bet jammed over a raise and call, only for Xue to eventually make the call with pocket tens. Yang had big slick and picked up some extra outs on the flop, but the board ran out clean for Xue, sending Yang out in tenth and putting Xue into the final table with the chip lead.

Final Table Action

Xue was the one to catch at the start, but she took a hit straight away when Zhihui Zhang doubled after getting ace-queen in against Xue’s ace-jack. That only slowed Xue down for a moment, as she quickly sent out the first finalist.

Qin Li jammed his short stack in with jack-ten but ran straight into the dominating ace-ten of Xue. Both players flopped two pair, and there was no miracle for Li, who had to settle for a ninth-place finish.

Zhang’s own run didn’t last much longer. After losing some chips to Shen, he got his chips in against Jin in what became a flip. Zhang found no improvement on the runout with ace-ten, and Jin moved into the chip lead while Zhang exited in eighth.

Zongxin Liu was next to fall after three-bet jamming pocket sevens over Shi's open. Shi called with queen-nine off, so Liu was ahead preflop, but Shi spiked a nine on the flop and held from there, sending Liu out in seventh.

Just a few minutes later, Songlin Li ran into trouble against Xue. Li shoved a weak ace on the button and Xue quickly called from the big blind with pocket queens. Li had run into the ladies of the last woman standing, and there was no help on the runout, leaving him to settle for a sixth place payout.

Five-handed play brought some of the biggest momentum swings of the final table. Xue first took a big pot from Shen, who value-owned himself with top pair and a weaker kicker. Jin then took a chunk Xue with a flopped set, but Xue responded by dragging a big pot from him with a set of aces, pushing herself back up to the top of the counts.

Yinchao Shen

Shen looked like he might find a way back after doubling through Shi, but his tournament ended soon after. He limped from the small blind with ace-seven and called off when Shi shoved from the big blind holding king-six. Shen was slightly ahead, but Shi paired his king on the flop and held through the river, sending Shen out in fifth.

Xue then took care of Jin in fourth. She opened the button and called after Jin three-bet jammed from the small blind. Jin was ahead with ace-ten, but Xue picked up top pair on the turn, holding king-queen and faded the river, sending Jin to the cashier’s desk In fourth.

With three left, the stacks were close enough for anything to happen. Wang found some momentum by getting value from Xue, and Shi also put Xue in a tough spot when he overbet jammed the river, forcing her to fold two pair, which was the best hand.

Kai Shi

The biggest pot of the tournament came when Shi raised the button and Xue three-bet from the blinds. Shi four-bet shoved for more than 50 big blinds, and Xue went into the tank before making the call with big slick. Shi was behind with a suited connector and needed help, but Xue flopped top pair and had the hand locked up by the turn. Shi was eliminated in third, and Xue went into heads-up with a 3:1 chip lead.

The Heads-Up Match

The first blood of the heads-up match went Wang's way. Xue fired two barrels as a bluff with king-high, but Wang had been trapping with a flopped two pair. This closed the gap between the two, and some might have thought Wang was going to take the title away from her.

That comeback did not get much further. In the final hand, Xue raised the button before Wang three-bet from the big blind. Xue called, and after Wang continued on the flop, she moved all in with trip sevens. Wang called off his remaining stack with pocket nines, and was left needing a two outer to keep the match going.

The turn changed nothing, and the river was not the card Wang needed. Xue let out a scream of delight as the final pot was pushed her way, sealing Wang’s runner-up finish and crowning Xue as the TLPT Jeju 2026 Circuits Main Event champion.

On the flop of T♣ 7♣ 7♥, Wang fired out 1,000,000 and Xue shoved. Wang had 6,400,000 behind and took just a few seconds before he caleld it off.

The J♣ on the turn ended it, as the Q♠ to complete the board was just a necessity.

Xue checked again, and after a few moments, Shi overbet jammed for 5,400,000.

Shen Folds Trips Correctly

The flop came down T♦ 7♦ A♦, where both checked to the A♠ turn. Shen fired out 200,000, and Shi bumped it up to 900,000. After thinking for a while, Shen called.

A 6♥ on the river saw Shen check it over to Shi, who immediately threw in a time bank to give himself more time to think it over. Eventually, Shi shoved, putting Shen to the test for his remaining 1,900,000.

After some time in the tank, Shen folded A♣ 2♥ for trips, and Shi scooped in the pot as he returned K♦ Q♦ to the dealer.

After a while, Jin three-bet 1,700,000. Before Jin had even finished putting out the chips, Shi four-bet jammed for 4,500,000. Jin burned through a couple of time banks and the returned his cards to the dealer.

A huge hand just played out between Jiawei Xue and Zhihui Zhang!

Kai Shi started with an open early position to 130,000 and Zhang three-bet to 370,000 from middle position. Xue was in the next seat and four-bet to 900,000 in the hijack.

Shi quickly passed and with the action on Zhang, he took some time before he shoved for around 3,000,000. Xue confirmed the count, grabbed some chips, and slammed them down into the pot with an excited look on her face.

Xue was in great shape to knock out a player and hold around 25% of the chips in play. The flop of Q♣ 9♠ T♦ kept her ahead and her volume went up, but the decibel level dropped when the A♦ turn gave Zhang top pair.

A one-outer king would give Xue the victory, and a jack would give both Broadway to chop the pot, but it was Zhang who was a firm favorite to take the chip lead.

Zhang opened the cutoff to 100,000 and Xue called on the button.

On the 4♦ 8♠ 4♣ flop, Zhang continued for 100,000 and Xue called to see the A♣ hit the turn. A bet of 250,000 did the trick for Zhang as Xue laid her hand down.

Just 16 players remain in the TLPT Circuits Main Event at the TLPT Jeju 2026 series, all returning for one final day of action inside LES A Casino, Jeju, South Korea. Awaiting the eventual champion is the coveted trophy and a top prize of KRW 330,000,000 (~USD 224,085) from the KRW 2,100,000,000 (~USD 1,400,000) prize pool.

Leading the way heading into Day 3 is Kai Shi with 4,240,000, making him the only player to eclipse the four million chip mark so far. Jiawen Xue sits second with 3,580,000 and remains the last female player standing, while Yinchao Shen rounds out the top three with exactly 3,000,000. Also returning with healthy stacks are Zhihui Zhang (2,850,000), Zheng Wang (2,330,000), and Songlin Li (2,190,000), while Qin Li will come back as the short stack with just six big blinds.
