The two-day highlight, PS High Roller, has officially wrapped up its initial games with a total of 72 entries recorded throughout the Day 1 round. Only half of the field at 36 players survived the first ten levels of play with Malaysia's Chee Chen topping the ranks with a chip count of 589,000. His rise to the lead was brought by a crucial spot in the last hour, having spiked a two outer with his queens against Hongyu Huang's pocket aces.

Chen stands to be the sole runner to crack the 500K mark, leaving a substantial gap with next in line Wilson Wang's 467,000 stack. Belgium's Kristof Segers and Japan's Hidenari Tomita share the third spot, both bringing 438,000 onto the next stage.

Registration remains open through the first two levels of tomorrow's Final Day battle, where the payouts are due to be unveiled.

Dan Kwan opened 6,000 on the hijack and was met with a 15,000 three bet from Chee Chen a seat after. Kwan bumped it up further to 50,000, yet folded after Chen pushed all-in.

Chee Chen sent out a 14,000 three bet on the button against an early open and saw Hongyu Huang on the big blind, cold four bet to 29,500. Chen answered with a shove, snap called by Huang for his entire 140,000.

Crushed against the rockets, Chen instantly turned the tables as the board Q♣ 5♣ 2♥ 3♦ 7♦ landed him a set to take the overall lead.

Horace Leung initiates the final hand with a jam holding Q♣ 7♥ , Chee Chen calls and is a happy camper being far ahead with K♣ Q♦ , but we know by now what that means. A bad beat for the final elimination coming at the pleasure of the dealer, spicing up the felt with 8♣ 6♣ 8♠ 7♦ 2♦ for a last time, crowning Horace Leung the new PS High Roller champion!

Chee Chen Recovers Some

Kristof Segers limps his SB and BB Chee Chen waives his option to see the flop 4♥ T♠ 6♦ that has Segers lead for 125,000. Back to raising, Chee Chen scoops the pot after sliding 350,000 over the line.

Trying to defend another BB with a 600,000 three-bet holding 4♣ 2♣ against a raise form the chip leader, Chee Chen gets himself into some trouble with the flop K♦ Q♣ T♥ where he forks out another 200,000 that gets called for a checked turn J♠ to complete the board 6♣ . Mounting a last Hail Mary attack for 400,000, Chee Chen watches Horace Leung call and table a flopped straight J♦ 9♣ .

Kicking off the action with a raise to 250,000, Chee Chen takes both opponents on a trip to the flop Q♣ T♣ 4♠ that gets checked to him. Still having a good feeling about J♦ J♣ he continues for 225,000 but is faced with a 1,200,000 jam from BB Kristof Segers holding Q♥ 5♥ . Chee Chen calls, cant find another jack on 2♥ and 8♣ that puts Kristof Segers slightly ahead of him.

After picking up the blinds once Horace Leung opens 250,000 with K♦ 6♣ from the button, but Chee Chen puts down his foot with J♥ 7♥ three-betting to 600,000 to take down the pot and showing the leader he wont be run over that easily.

The hand after goes to Kristof Segers with A♥ A♣ extracting only one more blind from BB Horace Leung who then surrenders some more to Chee Chen with another 250,000 open from BU holding J♣ 8♥ against BB Chee Chen pumping it to 600,000 with K♦ 6♥ , closing the gap to the leader even more.

After losing a few chips against Kristof Segers the hand before, Chee Chen wakes up with 9♠ 9♣ in the SB and looks at a 1,600,000 jam from Yoda Lin in front of him. A successful isolation for 2,100,000 has Yoda Lin table A♣ 8♦ who finds no ace on Q♣ Q♥ 3♠ 7♣ 5♥ and his deep run comes to an end.

After picking up the blinds again, Horace Leung defends his big with K♥ T♦ against Chee Chen's 300,000 open with A♠ J♥ to see the flop K♦ 9♦ 5♣ . A 225,000 c-bet finds a call for the turn A♣ where Chee Chen's 400,000 second barrel takes it down due to a very disciplined fold from his opponent.

After winning a small three-way pot and stealing a big blind and ante, Kristof Segers opens 160,000 with 7♠ 7♣ and calls Chee Chen's 630,000 jam to be miles ahead against his 5♦ 5♣ . The dealer delivers another bad beat by tabling 5♥ 4♠ 9♥ A♣ A♥ and the field evens out once more.

Daniel Yang kicks us off with a raise to 160,000 and takes both blinds to the flop A♠ A♥ 3♦ where a c-bet of 180,000 is enough to take down the pot.

First to act Chee Chen kicks off the action with A♣ J♦ and a raise to 105,000, BB Yeh Hung Wei jams his remaining 740,000 with A♠ Q♠ to dominate and Chee Chen finds the call after using two time banks. Everyone misses on K♥ 7♦ 3♠ 8♠ 6♣ and Yeh Hung Wei is out of the danger zone for now.

Daniel Yang opens 85,000 from UTG with A♦ T♥ and takes both blinds to the flop J♥ T♦ 2♦ that gets checked to the turn 4♥ . Daniel Yang slides out a 160,000 delayed c-bet and SB Yoda Lin calls with K♥ T♣ to hit a three outer on the river K♠ with Daniel Yang losing the minimum by electing to check behind.

Horace Leung opens 80,000 from +2 with A♦ 9♦, BB Chee Chen makes it 225,000 with A♠ A♣ and takes it down.

The next hand has Chee Chen pick up A♣ 9♣ in the SB to take it down with an open raise to 150,000.

Kristof Segers eliminated Tom Henricus Verbruggen out of our view. Tom will get $1,850 and now we move on to another massive hand on a different table.

Daniel Yang initiates the action with a 60,000 raise from +1 holding Q♠ Q♣ and takes both blinds to the flop 6♠ 2♥ 4♥ . Checked to him, Yang separates 75,000 from his stack for a c-bet, SB folds and current chip leader Chee Chen raises to 200,000. With some acting involved, Daniel Yang announces all-in for 808,000 and gets called by Chee Chen with K♥ 7♥ hoping for a king or a heart. The wish is not granted on A♠ and 7♣ and Daniel Yang takes over the lead.

Folded to SB Chee Chen, 72,000 go over the line, BB Tsang Ka Chun shoves almost 50bb with A♠ J♦ to put his opponent all-in, who happily obliges to call with his remaining 979,000 holding A♥ K♦ . No hits for any of them on 3♦ 7♥ T♠ 9♠ Q♣ puts the favorite Chee Chen back into a commanding lead over the field.

UTG Chee Chen opens 40,000 and BB Yeh Hung Wei defends big to see the flop J♣ 6♣ 3♥ . Three barrels of 30,000, 75,000 and 250,000 follow to the turn J♠ and river K♠ with the last going unanswered, granting Chee Chen another sizable pot.

Opening 32,000 from +1, Chee Chen takes both blinds to the flop Q♣ J♣ 9♦ where a 60,000 c-bet has him go heads up with Taisei Sakamoto to the turn T♦ . Two checks reveal the river 7♠ where another 80,000 bet takes it down for Chee Chen.

A raise to 8,000 from the HJ has chip leader Chee Chen call from the BU and BB Winfred Yu looks at A♠ K♠ to announce all-in for 88,000. Chee Chen calls with T♥ T♠ for a flip. The board comes 2♦ 2♣ 7♣ J♠ Q♦ to eliminate the short stack and increase Chee Chen's lead over the field.
