Day 1C of the Players Series Main Event comes to an end after twelve 30min levels with 24 out of 65 entries advancing to Day 2 on Saturday the 21st at noon.

Singapore's Jun Yi with 159,000 and Taiwan's Patrick Liang with 158,500 are virtually tied for the lead and have Mystery Bounty champ and yesterdays HR 4th place finisher Daniel Yang close on their heels with 142,500.

The next chance to qualify is Day 1D in roughly 10 hours on the 20th at noon with twelve 40min levels and late registration throughout the entire day.

Kicking us off with a 3,000 raise from +1, Tang Ngong four-bets 22,000 after HJ Daniel Yang pumped it to 9,000. The same jams with A♣ 8♥ to put Tang Ngong all-in who calls with Q♦ 6♦ . The dealer tables 7♥ 5♣ 5♦ K♠ J♠ to eliminate Tang Ngong and hand Mystery Bounty champ and HR Final 4 Daniel Yang a decent sized pot.

Looking at A♠ K♠ , first to act Anthonia Hui jams 40,000 and finds a customer in +1 calling for his last 15,000 chips with A♣ J♥ . The board A♥ 7♦ 6♥ 4♦ Q♣ keeps the favorite ahead and thins out the field by one.

With +1 opening 3,000, HJ Anthonia Hui jams 16,500 holding A♥ 2♦ and SB Jun Yi is the only one filling up with A♣ Q♦ we follow the dealer flip over 3♥ 6♥ 7♥ 2♥ 7♣ giving Anthonia Hui the nut flush and more than a double up.

Opening 2,500 from UTG, Marciel Cerbito takes three customers to the flop Q♥ Q♣ 8♣ where a tiny 2,000 c-bet takes him heads up with Tang Ngong to his left. The turn 4♦ has him check-min-raise to 10,000 and Tang Ngong fills up to see the board complete with the 2♣ . A 15,000 lead with 8♦ 8♠ gets called by Tang Ngong who mucks.

Martin Gonzales open limps his SB and calls a 3,200 raise from BB Leung Yin Yeung to see the flop T♥ 2♣ 5♠ where he check calls another 3,000 c-bet to lay eyes on the turn 6♣ . A second barrel of 9,000 does the trick for Leung Yin Yeung to add some much needed chips to his stack.

Jess Chew starts us off with a raise to 2,500 from +1 and BB Jason Lau defends to see the flop J♣ 6♠ 2♣ . Lau check-calls 2,500 for the turn 9♦ where he does the same for 7,500 to complete the board 7♦ that sees the action die down with two checks and Jason Lau picks up the pot with J♦ 3♦ .

With two players all-in already, we pick up the action with the dealer arranging A♠ J♦ for Kim Junhyun who is at risk and on the opposite side A♦ 8♥ for Wei Jen Wang. The dealer delivers a bad beat on 8♠ 9♥ T♠ K♦ 9♣ , sending Kim Junhyun to the rail.

Jun Yi calls a 19,400 jam from an unknown player with T♣ T♥ against K♣ 9♣ . The board runs K♦ 7♠ T♠ 5♠ 7♥ granting a full house and an elimination.

We pick up the action on level 11 with 34 out of 65 players left in the running.

The Players Series Main Event Day 1C gets underway on December 19 at 7pm. Unlike the earlier flights, this one will see blinds increase at a faster 30 minute pace. Players can jump in anytime as registration is open all night and closing when Day 2 begins.

Keeping in line with affordability for all, the buy in has been set at NTD 15,000 (~US$ 460). A generous NTD 15,000,000 (~US$ 460K) guarantee is in tow. Players that enjoy a deep starting stack are advised to get to the felt early with 30,000 at your disposal. This is a very liberal 300 times the opening blinds. At the end of 12 levels, the remaining players will bag up and head on to Day 2.
