Day 2 of the PD23 Taiwan Main Event has come to a close and the final 16 players have bagged up their chips, each one now within striking distance of the Golden Dragon Poker Dream Trophy.

Leading the pack is Ting Chieh Chi, who had one of the most dramatic days at the table - surviving a massive cooler that could have ended his run before catapulting to the top of the counts.

Right behind him is Charles Tsai, who had been in the driver's seat since the very beginning. Tsai entered Day 2 with the largest stack from the combined flights and continued right where he left off, applying pressure and collecting chips.

The hand opened with a 50,000 raise from Tsai at hijack then called a three-bet of 120,000 from Wan Yun Lai on the small blind.
