That’s a wrap on Day 1C of the Poker Dream Juju 16 Main Event here at the Poker Dream Jeju 16 Main Event hosted at Jeju Shinhwa Landing Casino in Jeju Island, South Korea. The third of 11 starting flights attracted 130 entrants and by the end of the night just 20 players remained.

After nearly 14 levels Xu Jing emerged as the Day 1C chip leader, finishing the night with 460,000. Xu scored a flurry of knockouts late in the evening on his way towards bagging the largest stack. Xu is most closely followed by Hyunyeong Kang (381,000) while Xiangyu Yu rounds out the top three with 338,000.

Nine starting flights remain, with Day 1D currently underway and Day 1E starting tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. local time, with a buy-in of KRW 2,400,000 (~1,700 USD). Later that evening, Day 1F takes place, featuring a buy-in of KRW 1,600,000 (~USD 1,100).

Zehan Li opened to 6,000 from the hijack and received calls from Chen Ye on the button and a player in the big blind.

The flop came A♥ K♣ 8♦ . The big blind checked, Li bet 6,000, Ye called and the big blind folded.

Li continued for 24,000 on the 9♣ turn and Ye called again. On the 7♦ river Li bet 68,000 and this time Ye folded.

Nicholas Michael Ng Yi Wen shoved from the hijack and Chen Ye, who was covered with his stack of 25,500, called from the small blind.

The 4♦ A♣ 7♠ Q♥ T♣ runout gave Ye two pair to double through Wen.

Chen Ye opened to 1,200 from under the gun, a player in the hijack three-bet to 3,600, Haibo Yang four-bet to 8,500 from the big blind, Ye five-bet to 19,000 and both opponents folded.

A player opened o 300 from under the gun and received four callers including Alessio Isaia in early position, Chen Ye in the cutoff and Chi Ho Yeung in the small blind.

The flop came T♥ 9♦ 9♥ and action checked around t Isaia who bet 700. Only Ye and Yeung called.

The three remaining players checked the A♠ turn leading to the 2♦ river. Yeung bet 2,700, Isaia called and Ye folded.

Yeung turned over two pair with A♥ 6♥ and Isaia mucked.
