Teng Kah Yew 9♣ 9♠ opens 710,000 leaving himself 260,000 behind. Folds go around the felt and he nearly steals he blinds and ante however big blind Soriano Ramos wakes up with 4♥ 4♠ and defends with a shove. Teng calls for his tournament life and is ahead. With the board running J♣ K♦ 3♥ K♠ 5♠ , Teng doubles up.

Soriano Ramos min-raises with 9♣ 9♠ , down the orbit chip leader Lim Yat Yong A♣ T♠ calls from the big blind. Ramos continues on a flop 5♥ A♥ 5♦ , Lim check-calls the 185,000. Both check the turn A♠ and head to the river 2♦ . Lim switches up and leads out 575,000, Ramos calls and doesn't like what he sees.

With an ace on the window and the board completing 2♥ A♣ 5♣ 4♠ 9♦ , Ramos fist pumps for the win.

After giving up his chips on the previous hand, Soriano Ramos enters the next one by calling Jin Wang's raise. Wang c-bets the flop K♥ K♦ 8♥ , Ramos check-calls. No bets land on the turn 9♠ and river 5♦ .

Ramos checks his draw, Yiwan fires 150,000, Ramos calls, 2♣ come on fourth street. Ramos checks his flush, Yiwen barrels 410,000 then gets pushed by Ramos. Yiwen tank-folds losing half of her stack.

Soriano Ramos has been fairly quiet all day until Li Houwenfeng three-bet shoved. Ramos called with 8♠ 8♥, Li opened A♥ Q♣ , board ran low 5♥ 4♠ 2♥ T♠ 5♦ . Ramos ships as Li runs empty.

Day 1E ended with Spain's Soriano Ramos bagging up towering stack of 905,000 (113 bb). That was 35 bb more than the closest survivor Teng Kah Yew who bagged 620,000 (78 bb). Ramos has now taken over the top spot in the Day 2 survivor list and is far ahead of the pack. He has now set the bar for the next flights.

Despite the numerous outs possible for Ramos, none materialize on the turn J♣ and river 4♥ , to send him packing while Che rises to the top.

Ji Linrui raises to 4500, Soriano calls from the button. Ji c-bets 3000 on the flop A♦ K♠ T♣ , call again from Ramos to head to the turn J♠ . This time Ji decides to slow down and checks only to face an 11,000 bet, Ji uses up a time-bank then tosses in the call. On the river K♥, Ramos fires 11,500, Ji check-raises all in, Ramos snap-folds.
