KPC Super High Roller Day ($30,000)

After two days of high-stakes action, and 13 hours of play today, China’s Ye Wang emerged as the KPC Super High Roller champion, outlasting a total of 94 entrants to claim the USD 682,200 top prize.

Wang, who sits 7th on China’s all-time money list with over USD 7.6 million in live earnings, continues a stellar run of form following deep results at Triton Jeju earlier this year, including a third-place finish for USD 1,846,000 and a runner-up score worth USD 1,218,000. Taking the runner's-up position is circuit regular Calvin Lee, who had a tumultuous journey but ultimately cashed for USD 452,000. Rounding out the podium is Australia's Yita Choong, with almost USD 3 million in live earnings, his third place cash of USD 307,000 is his best logged win this year.

It wasn’t smooth sailing for Wang, who busted on Day 1 before returning with a second bullet on Day 2. His rebuild was steady, highlighted by a key double through Tsz Kin Heung when his queen hit the river, and a knockout of Xiushen Wei on the soft bubble with ace-jack over ace-six. He carried that momentum to the final table, starting second in chips.

After over an hour on the soft bubble, Wei was sent out in 17th place, the remaining players were merged to two tables and hand-for-hand play began on the bubble.

During the first hand of play, Yei Lu moved all in, shouting "bubble time!," with Winfred Yu calling, tabling big slick to knock out Yu's king-queen, officially sending. the final 15 players into the money.

This began Yu's ascent towards taking the chip lead at the final table, surging to the top of the counts when he eliminated Shaoliang Luo in 10th place when his queens held against Luo's queen-eight.

Other notables cashing but falling just shy of the final table are Thailand's Punnat Punsri, finishing in 12th, and Chenxu "Vanessa" Zhang, who finished 6th in the WPT Main Event yesterday, and got straight back into it, logging yet another impressive run with her cash today in 13th place.

Yu entered the final table as the commanding chip leader with 12,000,000, well ahead of second-place Ye Wang. Wang quickly closed the gap, however, eliminating Christian Harder in 10th place when a jack on the turn connected with his jack-seven to beat Harder’s pocket sixes.

From there, the remaining eight players traded pots in a series of dynamic exchanges. Calvin Lee caught a bluff when his queen-six held against the four-deuce of Day 1 chip leader Jian Cui. Cui soon found himself out in 8th place after Wang claimed another victim, adding yet more chips to his growing stack.

Despite his strong start, Lee’s road to the runner-up finish was anything but smooth. He found himself short-stacked multiple times throughout the final table. In one crucial hand against Yu, Lee was all in with king-queen against ace-king, but made two pair on the flop to stay alive. Yu’s deep run ended in 7th when his queen-jack failed to overcome Choong’s pocket aces.

From there, eliminations came gradually. Hugues "Hugo" Girard held the lead for much of four-handed play but lost a major pot when Choong’s ace-king paired on the flop. After doubling Choong again, Girard got his ace-jack in against Lee’s pocket kings and found no help on the board, exiting in 4th.

Following a string of back-and-forth double-ups, Lee managed to stay alive once more when his queen-jack held against Choong’s ten-five suited, fading a flush draw on the flop. He then eliminated Choong in 3rd, flopping a set with pocket queens to bring play heads-up.

Lee began the final duel with 30,000,000 to Wang’s 17,000,000, but the balance soon shifted when Wang’s flopped top pair held against Lee’s middle pair, effectively reversing the stacks.

The tournament reached its conclusion when Lee moved all in with jack-ten of hearts and Wang called with ace-queen of hearts. Both players made flushes, but Wang’s ace-high held to seal the win and crown him the KPC Super High Roller champion.

The dealer sent a 6♥ on the turn, offering Wang a flush draw and making Lee start to sweat.

Asked, you should receive. The river brought another heart 3♥, completing Wang's ace-high flush to overtake Lee's jack-high flush and sending him to the rail.

Ye Wang limped in from the button and Calvin Lee raised to 3,100,000 from the big blind. Yang called.

On the 6♥ K♦ 4♥ flop, Lee continued for 1,500,000. Wang stuck around to see the board-pairing 6♦ on the turn, where Lee sent another barrel of 2,800,000. Wang called.

When the 5♣ landed on the river, Lee checked. Wang then shoved for 5,100,000. After thinking for a while, Lee dropped in the call.

Wang revealed K♣ T♣ for a flopped pair of kings to beat Lee's rivered pair of fives with 5♥ 2♣. Wang scooped in a monster pot.

Following the elimination of Yita Choong in third place, play is now heads-up between Ye Wang and Calvin Lee. Lee enters the battle with an almost 2:1 chip advantage.

After doubling up through Ye Wang a couple of hands earlier when his king-ten connected against Wang's ace-king on a 2♥ T♠ 5♠ 3♦ J♦ board, Yita Choong found himself all in again, this time against Calvin Lee.

Despite calls from his rail for a king or clubs, Lee flopped a set on the 5♠ T♣ Q♦ board. The A♦ turn brought Choong a straight draw, but the K♦ river wasn’t enough to save him, sending him out in 3rd place for $307,000.

Calvin Lee made it 1,200,000 to go on the button, and Yita Choong shoved for around 15,000,000 in the big blind. Lee called for his 9,300,000.

Lee picked up the lead with his kicker queen and held control on the T♥ 4♥ T♦ flop. The deck locked up a crucial double-up for Lee with the K♣ Q♣ runout, leaving Choong short.

After losing a sizeable portion of his stack in a previous hand when he folded to Ye Wang’s river shove, Calvin Lee found himself back in action against small blind Yita Choong, who moved all in. Lee called from the big blind to put himself at risk.

The 7♠ 7♥ 4♥ flop kept Lee ahead but left him sweating against the flush draw. The Q♦ turn improved him to a pair, and the A♠ river locked up the double.

After losing a sizable pot to Yita Choong, Hugues Girard moved all in from the button for 1,350,000 and was called by Ye Wang in the big blind, putting his tournament life on the line.

Girard picked up the lead with king-high and extended the dominance on the Q♠ 3♥ K♥ flop, connecting with his king.

The deck locked up a much-needed double-up for Girard with the Q♦ 2♠ runout, extending his tournament life.

In the very next hand, Hugues made it 1,000,000 to go from under the gun, only to face a shove from Calvin Lee for 5,075,000. Hugues called off his around 4,500,000, putting himself at risk.

Girard's ace-high ran straight into Lee's pocket kings and received little help from the dealer on the 3♦ 4♣ 6♠ flop. The turn showed an 8♣, leaving Hugues still looking for an ace for his survival.

Unfortunately for Girard, the 6♥ landed on the river, finishing his run in fourth place.

Button Ye Wang raised to 1,000,000 and was called by big blind Hugues "Hugo" Girard.

Action checked through the 8♥ 7♠ 7♣ 6♠ Q♥ runout, where Girard showed Q♠ J♣ to claim the pot.

Hand 2

Wang and Girard tangled again, this time with positions reversed. Girard led for 1,000,000 and Wang called.

Both checked the J♣ T♦ 6♥ flop to the 7♠ turn, where Girard folded to Wang’s 900,000 bet.

Hand 3

Yita Choong raised to 1,750,000 from the small blind and big blind Girard three-bet to 4,050,000. Choong moved all in and Girard snap-called.

Choong hit top pair on the 9♥ 4♥ A♥ flop, and Girard found no help on the 2♦ 7♣ runout, taking a sizeable hit to his stack.

Zhang trailed with his queen-high and received a straight draw on the 9♦ J♥ 3♦ flop, giving Choong a sweat.

Much to Zhang's dismay, the 6♣ river announced the end of his tournament run in fifth place.

Small blind Ye Wang limped in from the small blind and Yita Choong checked in the big.

Both players checked the 8♦ T♦ 7♥ flop to see the J♦ turn, where Wang check-called Choong's 700,000 bet.

The J♥ completed and paired the board, and action went check-check.

Wang turned over K♦ T♥ for middle pair, good enough for the pot as Choong's cards hit the muck.

Denis Zhang open-shoved for 3,525,000 from under the gun and Hao Tian called for his 3,300,000 in the hijack, putting his tournament life on the line.

Tian's ace-high collided with Zhang's pocket nines and received a straight draw on the K♣ 3♦ Q♠ flop.

The dealer revealed a 5♠ on the turn, but Tian still had many outs for his survival.

Much to Tian's dismay, the river bricked out a 5♣, sending him to the rail in sixth place.

Starting as the final table chip leader, Winfred Yu found himself down to his last 1,900,000 chips. He moved all in from early position and was re-shoved on by Yita Choong in the hijack. Once the remaining players folded, the cards went on their backs:

It was trouble for Yu against Choong’s pocket aces. A jack on the J♥ 7♦ 7♥ flop offered some hope, but the T♥ 4♣ runout brought no further help, ending Yu’s run in 7th place.

Yita Choong opened to 500,000 from under the gun and Hugues Girard three-bet to 3,050,000 from middle position. Winfred Yu then four-bet to 4,500,000 from the small blind. Choong folded. Girard then announced all in for around 6,800,000. Yu snap-called to put his opponent at risk.

Yu's Big Slick ran headfirst into Girard's Cowboys, who held control on the ad 9♦ J♠ flop. The turn showed a board-pairing J♥, leaving Yu drawing to an ace.

Unfortunately for Yu, the river didn't cooperate as it sent a 6♥, locking up a crucial double-up for Girard along with the chip lead.

Ye Wang raised to 500,000 from the cutoff, only to face a shove from Jian Cui for 4,250,000 in the big blind. Wang snap-called.

After losing 2,650,000 to Yita Choong when Choong’s king-ten paired against his ace-queen on a 6♦ 8♣ T♠ 8♠ 5♣ runout, a couple of hands later Calvin Lee raised and then called a three-bet shove from Winfred Yu, putting himself all in.

Lee made two pair on the Q♦ K♣ 7♦ flop to take the lead and stayed ahead through the 6♥ 5♦ runout, effectively winning back the chips he had lost a few hands earlier.

Jian Cui limped in from the small blind and Calvin Lee checked over from the big blind.

The duet then tapped the table on the T♣ T♥ Q♦ flop to see the J♣ on the turn, where Cui bet 200,000 and Lee stuck around.

When an 8♥ filled out the board, action went check-check. Cui revealed 4♥ 2♥ for a bluff, while Lee tabled Q♣ 6♣ for a flopped pair of queens and dragged in the pot.

Ye Wang raised the button, only to be shoved by Christian Harder from the small blind for 600,000. Wang dropped in the call to put Christian at risk.

Harder picked up the lead with pocket sixes and held control on the 4♦ 9♦ 8♣ flop, while Wang got a flush draw.

The turn sent a J♥, connecting with Wang's jacks and leaving Harder drawing thin.

A 7♠ river came to end Harder's tournament run in ninth place for a payout of $124,000

Shaoliang Luo got the remainder of his 3,900,000 stack in against Winfred Yu, sending them to showdown:

A few hands after, Calvin Lee raised in the hijack, only to face a jam from Punsri in the big blind for 375,000. Lee made the call.

The turn showed a J♣, leaving Punsri drawing very thin. The river sent a 3♠, sending Punsri to the rail in 12th place.

Edmund Lau moved all in for 500,000 from the small blind, and Hao Tian called from middle position.

He got his ace-queen in against pocket tens, which held through the runout.

After the elimination of Xiushen Wei in 17th place, the remaining players were merged to two tables and hand-for-hand play began on the Super High Roller bubble.

In the first hand of play, Lei Yu moved all in for 400,000 from early position and was three-bet to 1,000,000 by Winfred Yu in the cutoff. The floor instructed both players to reveal their hands:

The 7♦ J♣ 4♦ flop kept ace-high in front for Winfred, with the 7♣ turn bringing a chance to chop. However, the 9♠ river confirmed Lei’s elimination in 16th place, bursting the bubble and ensuring the remaining players a spot in the money.

Denis Zhang opened the cutoff to 225,000 and Ye Wang called from the small blind, as did Xiushen Wei in the big blind.

The blinds checked over the Q♣ K♦ A♥ flop to Wang, who continued for 250,000. Wang check-called, only to face a shove from Wei for 975,000. Zhang stepped aside and Wang dropped in the call to put his tablemate at risk.

Both players flopped top pair of aces, but Wang held the command with a stronger kicker jack. The dealer revealed a 7♣ on the turn, leaving Wei drawing thin.

Unfortunately for Wei, the 9♣ river sealed his fate, ending his tournament run in 17th place and leaving the field in the direct bubble time.

Down to the final 17 players, the field has officially entered hand-for-hand play. The atmosphere tightens as everyone looks to secure a spot in the money.

Denis Zhang opened the button to 160,000 and Ye Wang defended his big blind.

On the Q♥ 2♦ 4♦ flop, Wang check-called for a bet of 120,000 from Zhang to see the 8♥ on the turn, where Wang check-called again, this time for 5550,000.

Both players checked through the 8♥ river and took it to a free showdown. Yang table a flush with 5♦ 3♦ to beat Zhang's rivered set with 8♣ 8♠.

Ye Wang made it 180,000 to go from the hijack, and Xiushen Wei called in the cutoff, as did Denis Zhang from the big blind.

The trio tapped the table on the J♥ 6♣ 8♦ flop to see the board-pairing 8♣ turn, where Zhang bet 420,000. Only Wang came along for the ride.

When the J♦ hit on the river, Zhang checked to Wang, who fired out 625,000, prompting a snap-fold from Zhang.

Button Calvin Lee raised to 175,000 and was called by big blind Edmund Lau.

Lau check-shoved after Lee fired 150,000 on the 4♦ 9♦ 8♠ flop, prompting a quick fold from Lee.

Hand 2

Cutoff Chenxu "Vanessa" Zhang raised to 175,000, then folded when small blind Christian Harder three-bet to 500,000.

Hand 3

Button Punnat Punsri raised to 160,000 and was called by big blind Lee.

Lee check-folded when Punsri slid 80,000 into the middle on the 4♥ T♥ Q♥ flop.

At another table, KPC Single Day Super High Roller winner Dong Chen was eliminated, taking the field to 17.

Punna Punsri opened the button to 145,000 and Calvin Lee defended his big blind.

Lee check-called on the T♣ A♠ J♠ flop after Punsri continued for 130,000. The dealer sent a board-pairing J♣ on the turn, and Lee check-called again, this time for 320,000.

Lee checked over again when the K♦ landed on the river, and it took Punsri to think for a while before he decided to check over at last.

Lee quickly tabled an uncrackable boat with K♠ J♥, leaving Punsri no choice but to muck his cards.

Winfred Yu made it 120,000 to go from under the gun and Wenjie Huang defended his big blind.

On the T♠ 9♥ Q♣ flop, Huang check-called after Yu continued for 85,000. When the 2♥ hit on the turn, Huang check-called again, this time for 300,000 from Yu.

Both players tapped the table on the 9♠ river and took it to a free showdown. Huang tabled a flopped pair of tens with A♥ T♥, but it couldn't overtake the flopped pair of queens from Yu's Q♦ J♦.

Button Denis Zhang raised to 250,000 and called a three-bet shove for 540,000 from big blind Tsz Kin Heung.

Both connected on the Q♦ 6♠ 3♥ flop, but Heung was outkicked by Zhang’s ace. The T♦ 2♦ runout brought no help, sending Heung to the rail just a few spots short of the money.

Cutoff Xiushen Wei raised to 140,000 and was called by big blind Benjamin Wu.

Wu check-folded to Wei’s 175,000 continuation bet on the Q♦ 3♦ 4♠ flop.

Hand 3

Hijack Wei limped in, then folded to a shove of 950,000 from cutoff Yita Choong.

Hand 4

Cutoff Wu moved all in for 690,000 and was called by button Zhang, who held a commanding stack.

Wu stayed ahead on the 9♥ 5♥ J♦ flop and secured the double as the 8♣ 4♣ turn and river completed the board.

At another table, Meng Ling Lin was also eliminated.

Calvin Lee made it 105,000 to go from under the gun and Punnat Punsri defended his big blind.

Punsri then check-called on the 5♥ K♥ 2♣ flop after Lee continued with a 75,000 bet. Action went check-check on the A♣ turn.

When a board-pairing A♦ fell on the river, Punnat bet 100,000 and Lee snap-called.

Punnat tabled 9♥ 6♥ for nine-high, while Lee tabled K♦ 7♦ for a flopped pair of kings and took down the pot.

Dong Chen opened the cutoff to 100,000 and Shaoliang Luo defended his big blind.

The duet tapped the table the river on the 3♠ 2♣ A♥ Q♥ 4♦ board, where action unfolded by Luo, who bet 75,000. Chen then cranked it up to 225,000. After thinking for a while, Chen eventually let go of his cards.

Small blind Tsz Kin Heung moved all in for 950,000 and was called by big blind Ye Wang, putting himself at risk:

Heung looked good on the 7♥ 3♥ 5♠ flop with a pair and a draw, but the 3♦ Q♠ runout secured Wang a double with top pair and left Heung’s stack severely dented.

Lei Yu raised to 100,000 from under the gun and received a call from big blind Calvin Lee.

The K♦ 4♠ 5♠ flop landed and Lee checked. Yu slid 80,000 into the middle, and after a quick glance at his cards, Lee raised to 215,000.

Yu thought for a few seconds before sending his cards to the muck, and Lee added to his already commanding stack.

With 26 players still in the field and 15 places paid, these players will be disappointed not to have secured a cash.

Quan Zhou opened the cutoff to 95,000 and Christian Harder called from the small blind.

Harder checked on the 5♥ Q♥ Q♦ flop to Zhou, who continued for 100,000. Harder then cranked it up to 260,000. Zhou stuck around.

The dealer sent a board-pairing 5♠ on the turn, and Harder changed his gear here with a 200,000 bet. Zhou dropped in the call.

Harder used one time bank card before he fried another barrel of 550,000 on the A♠ river, which prompted a snap-fold from Zhou.

Punnat Punsri made it 80,000 to go from middle position and Renji Mao defended his big blind.

Mao check-called on the K♣ 3♠ 2♠ flop after Punsri continued for 55,000. The 9♦ hit on the turn and Mao check-called again, this time for 250,000.

When an A♥ filled out the board, Mao checked over and Punsri sent his third barrel of 900,000, sending his opponent in the tank. It took Mao one time bank card to eventually announce a fold.

Hugues "Hugo" Girard raised to 80,000 from middle position and was called by cutoff Yuhan Liu.

Girard fired 75,000 on the spade-studded 8♠ T♠ 2♠ flop, before Liu raised to 200,000. Girard thought it over for a moment before calling.

The 5♥ landed on the turn, and Girard checked. Liu counted out 275,000, and Girard mulled it over for a prolonged period before ultimately finding a fold.

Hand 2

Hijack Liu raised to 80,000, then called when cutoff and short stack Hao Tian moved all in for around 850,000.

Liu was outkicked and ended up doubling Tian as the T♣ 3♦ 6♦ 7♣ J♥ runout hit the felt.

Small blind Ye Wang limped in and Girard checked his option in the big blind.

Both checked the 3♠ 3♥ Q♠ flop to the 7♦ turn, where Wang check-called Girard’s 75,000 bet.

The 4♣ completed the board, and Wang checked once more. Girard fired 325,000, leaving Wang in the tank for a considerable amount of time before he eventually called, only to muck when Girard revealed Q♣ 7♠ for two pair.

Tsz Kin Heung made it 60,000 to go from the cutoff, only to face a jam from "Jonny" for 230,000. Heung called.

Heung took the command with his stronger kicker jack, but Johnny took over the dominance on the 4♠ K♦ 2♦ flop, connecting with his deuce.

The 3♥ hit on the turn, leaving Heugn still needing a jack to eliminate Johnny.

Fortunately for Johnny, the 6♦ landed on the river, locking up a tournament-extending double-up for him.

Joseph Cheong open-shoved from under the gun for 60,000, Xiang Lu called on the button. Renji Mao then re-shoved from the small blind for 655,000. Lu stepped aside this time, leaving Cheong at risk agaisnt Mao.

Mao held the lead with his stronger kicker nine and extended his dominance on the 9♠ 9♣ 7♠ flop, improving him to trip nines, leaving Cheong drawing very thin.

The 7♦ came on the turn, leaving Cheong drawing dead and already rising from his seat.

The 4♠ on the river was merely a formality, as the pot was shipped to Mao, adding yet another name to his growing knockout list.

Xiushen Wei opened to 50,000 on the button, only to be shoved by Jian Zhu from the small blind for 290,000. Wei dropped in the call to put his tablemate's tournament life on the line.

Zhu's king-high picked up the lead against Wei's queen-high, but Wei took it over soon after as the dealer spread the 9♠ A♠ T♦ flop, connecting with Wei's ten.

The 5♣ hit on the turn, leaving Zhu still needing a king on the next card to stay alive.

Unfortunately for Zhu, the Q♠ jumped on the river, giving Wei two pair and sending Zhu to the rail.

Joshua McCully made it 55,000 to go from under the gun and Christian Harder called on the button, as did Jian Zhu from the big blind.

The trio tapped the table on the K♥ A♠ J♥ flop to see the 9♥ fall on the turn, where it checked to McCully, who bet 65,000. Only Harder stuck around.

When the T♦ filled out the board, McCully checked and Harder fired 175,000, prompting a snap-fold from McCully.

Small blind Jimmy Guerrero raised to 50,000 and was called by Hao Tian in the big blind.

Guerrero check-called Tian’s 30,000 bet on the K♥ K♦ 9♥ flop.

Both players checked the 8♦ turn, and on the T♠ river Guerrero led out for 125,000. Tian thought it over before making the call, revealing A♦ T♥ to take the pot against Guerrero’s Q♥ 5♥.

Cutoff Zang Shunu moved all in for 575,000 and was called by short-stacked Renji Mao on the button.

Mao’s kings held through the 9♣ 6♠ J♣ 3♠ 9♠ runout, earning him a much-needed double and leaving Shunu on fumes. He was eliminated shortly after.

Yita Choong opened to 50,000 from under the gun and Dong Chen three-bet the hijack to 85,000. Choong called.

Choong checked the monochrome A♠ K♠ 8♠ flop to Chen, who continued for 35,000. Choong then shoved for 255,000. After a while, Chen responded with a call to put his tablemate at risk.

Yita Choong: A♥ 8♥

Choong took the command with a flopped two pair against Chen's pair of aces.

The dealer dashed Chen's hope to collect one more elimination with the 8♣ turn, improving Choong's two pair to a full house.

The 6♦ river came to ship the pot Choong's way officially.

Registration has now closed for the KPC Super High Roller event. From a total of 94 entries, just 43 players remain, creating a prize pool of $2,589,112. With no further chances to rebuy, players will be holding on tightly to their stacks as the field continues to narrow.

Quan Zhou opened to 40,000 from under the gun and Jian Zhu called on the button, as did Joshua Mccully in the small blind.

On the 9♦ 6♦ T♠ flop, action checked to Zhou, who continued for 60,000. Only Zhu came along for the ride.

Both players then checked through the 8♠ 9♠ runout and took it to a free showdown.

Zhou tabled his pair with J♠ J♦ and raked in the pot as Zhu folded.

The action was picked up on the turn with around 150,000 chips in the middle and the board showing K♦ 7♦ A♥ T♥. Jimmy Guerrero checked from the big blind, only to face a shove from Benjamin Wu for 200,00, sending Guerrero into the tank. After mulling it over, Guerrero flicked in a call.

Wu picked up the lead with a flopped two pair against Guerrero's top pair of aces. The dealer then delivered a 9♠ on the river, shipping the pot Wu's way.

On a completed board of 4♥ 5♥ 8♣ 8♠ 7♠, big blind Tsz Kin Heung fired 380,000 into the middle, putting UTG Meng Ling Lin in the tank. A♠ she mulled over the decision, the dealer picked off several timebanks before Lin ultimately folded.

Hand 2

Button Dong Chen raised to 40,000 but folded when big blind Lin three-bet to 120,000.

Hand 3

Button Heung raised to 40,000 and took it down uncontested.

Hand 4

Hijack Chen raised to 40,000 and everyone folded.

Hand 5

Hijack Heung raised to 40,000, then button Roman Hrabec moved all in for 440,000. Covering stack “Johnny” called from the small blind, and Heung got out of the way.

The board ran out J♠ 3♦ Q♥ 6♠ K♣, giving Hrabec two pair and leaving Johnny short-stacked.

With the button back on Punnat Punsri, Lin raised to 40,000 from under the gun and faced a three-bet to 110,000 from Hrabec. Lin took a moment before folding.

With around 85,000 chips in the pot, the dealer spread the 7♣ J♣ T♠ flop. Winfre Yu checked from the big blind to Shaoliang Luo, who led out 25,000, and Yu stuck around.

Both players checked through the 3♥ turn to see a 2♠ river, where Yu fired 80,000. It was good for the pot as Luo laid it down.

Benjamin Wu opened to 30,000 from early position and found a caller in Lin Alp on the button.

On the A♣ T♣ Q♥ flop, Wu moved all in to put the short-stacked Alp at risk, who called almost instantly.

Alp had flopped the nut straight and only needed to fade an ace to secure the double. The 6♥ A♠ runout changed nothing, locking up the double for Alp.

Jian Cui opened to 35,000 from the cutoff and Xiang Lu called on the button, only to face a shove from Juntao Zhu from the small blind for 260,000. Cui folded and Lu dropped in the call to pu his opponent at risk.

Lu picked up the lead with a stronger jack kicker and held control on the 9♦ 4♠ K♥ flop. The turn brought and A♦, leaving Zhu drawing to an eight.

Unfortunately for Zhu, the J♦ landed on the river, sending him to the rial.
