On his second push, Masafumi Matsushita once again raised all-in, this time for 400,000 on the cutoff. Paul Zehetleitner on the big blind, looked him up for a showdown.

Zehetleitner dominated, outflopped Matsushita on board Q♣ J♣ 9♣ 2♣ 6♥ , enough to cut his opponent's Main Event run completely.

With only 26 players remaining, the final three tables are due for a seat redraw. Only nine runners will advance to the Final Day, where the hunt for the APL Main Event title continues.
