WSOP Online to Award 85 Gold Bracelets in Two-month Series Beginning this July

Following the success of the recently concluded World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Circuit Event on the Natural8 GGnetwork platform, the leading global brand is back once again ready to award its players a total of 85 Gold bracelets this summer.

One of the largest tournament online series in history, the World Series of Poker Online is set to run across two distinct gaming platforms, WSOP.com and Natural8 of the GGnetwork beginning on the first of July to carry out a loaded schedule spanning for two months.

WSOP Online

With the annual live WSOP series postponed due to the Covid-19 public health emergency, poker enthusiasts all over the world will fortunately still have a great chance of scooping up a coveted gold bracelet.

It wouldn’t be Summer without WSOP” said Ty Stewart, Executive Director of the World Series of Poker. “While we are thrilled to be reopening our venues and optimistic about future offline events, we couldn’t be more excited about deepening our relationship with GGPoker and watching some history unfold online this summer.

Bracelet Events to Run on Natural8 GGNetwork

The other 54 events will soon follow on July 19 on partner platform Natural8 of the GGPoker network, commencing through the first week of September. Not only is the prestigious brand strengthening its ties with one of the biggest and fastest-growing online poker providers at the moment but is at the same time, signifying the first time players outside the United States will have a fighting chance in competing for an official WSOP bracelet online.

With over $100M in guarantees during the WSOPC Super Series in May and more than $134M in awarded prizes, it’s clear that GGPoker and the WSOP make a good pair,” said Steve Preiss, Head of Poker Operations for GGPoker. “We’re excited to create bracelet events that the worldwide poker community will embrace, as well as innovative programming with PokerGo.

As the platform recently wrapped up the WSOP Online Circuit event, the festival met a large success smashing its initial prize pool guarantee of $100 million. The recorded traffic for the series also reached a staggering 485,851 entries throughout the month-long period enabling the growing platform to meet its largest prize pool to date of $12.3 million. A whopping top prize of $1.2 million was also awarded to the Main Event champion, granting German player “schimmelgodx” a seven-digit score. Expected of recent events, there is definitely a lot more in store from one of the world’s leading online poker rooms.

Similar to the latest series, the coming WSOP Online festival will have a variety of “buy-in levels and formats that cater to a wide range of players.” Players on the Natural8 platform will also have the opportunity to jump in exclusive satellites, freerolls and leaderboards to be announced in the coming weeks. Schedule for the additional bracelet events will also follow as soon as the information becomes officially available.

There’s nothing in the world like winning a WSOP bracelet,” said GGPoker ambassador and poker icon Daniel Negreanu. “Bringing this experience online will open the door for a new generation of poker players to feel the rush of competing for the game’s biggest prize.
