Garnering outstanding turnouts one after the other, World Poker Tour is proudly introducing a second Passport to the World Championship festival to the Asian scene, in preparation for the upcoming 3rd Annual WPT World Championship games this December. One of WPT’s top destinations in the region, the brand is ready to set foot at NagaWorld Integrated Resort in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in association with Connaissance Management Limited once again, featuring a 41 event lineup this July 12-23, 2024. 

Last January saw its first Main Tour in Southeast Asia come into fruition, recording the brand’s richest offering in the region and anchoring its success with a grand prize pool of over $7.5 Million. A staggering 6,520 entries turned up for the WPT Cambodia games, hinting at yet another captivating series to come just months in following.

WPT Cambodia Championship Event – Package to World Championship

The twelve day schedule is centered around the $500,000 guaranteed WPT Cambodia Championship Event – Package to World Championship beginning on July 18th, with buy-ins for the events ranging as low as $200.

Running three qualifying rounds across the lineup, players buying in for the $1,300 crown jewel are allotted a starting stack of 40,000 to course through 40/60 minute blind levels. The first place prize sees a transferable $10,400 World Championship Entry along with seven nights accommodation for a total package value of $12,230, up for the taking. Runner-up finishers (2nd and 3rd) fortunately, won’t go home empty handed with each deemed to receive a $1,100 Prime Championship entry, taken from the prize pool.

Accompanying the headlining event are two multi-day guaranteed tournaments – Championship Warm Up, and 8 Max Survivor, both playing through just days before the Championship Event kicks off.  Several High Roller highlights are also included in the mix, raising the bar for more excitement intended for those eyeing to hop onto bigger action.
