World Series of Poker unveils full schedule for 55th annual games, 99 bracelet events up ahead
The annual World Series of Poker festival remains to be the highlight of poker players’ calendars with the prestige of winning a bracelet still continuing to be a career dream for many. Just earlier this week, the full daily event schedule for the 55th summer games was unveiled, boasting an extensive 99 bracelet lineup from May 28 through July 17, 2024.
The eight-week celebration to be held at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas once again, welcomes a number of new events, added flights, and other schedule adjustments, in addition to its classic marquee offerings. Nearly 700 tables are set to fill the site, hinting at higher expectations and more record breaking events at the action-packed scene for this year’s games.
“We’re proud to be Las Vegas’s original Main Event,” said Ty Stewart, SVP & Executive Director of the WSOP. “Records are made to be broken, so our motto this year is bigger and better. With our best schedule ever and more than 100 additional poker tables, we look forward to welcoming legends, first-timers and everyone in between. If you’re a poker player, there is simply no experience on earth like the World Series of Poker.”
The upcoming festivities follows through last season’s festivities which evolved to be the richest WSOP in history with a total of $397,802,897 in prizes awarded across 97 bracelet tournaments. Multiple event records were broken including that of the Main Event which attracted over 10,000 players to bring the prize pool up to $93,399,900. USA’s Daniel Weinman outlasted the enormous field and claimed the record $12,100,000 first prize, the only eight digit payout of the series.
This year’s $10,000 Main Event No Limit Hold’em World Championship kicks off on July 3rd, with four starting flights through July 6th. Late registration will still be open on July 7/ 8 until Level 7 of each Day 2, leading to the Final Table set on July 16-17 at Horseshoe Las Vegas. Similar to its predecessors, PokerGO, the world’s largest poker content company and streaming platform, will once again provide coverage for viewers across the globe including the 2024 WSOP Main Event, across PokerGO.com and other platforms.

New Events
Several changes have been made to this year’s schedule with at least a dozen events added, beginning with the Champions Reunion No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout which kicks off on opening day. The first bracelet on the lineup features a $5,000 buy-in where all previous Main Event winners are invited to take part in the games at no expense. While battling it out on the felt against these former champions may be thrilling in itself, players who bust them out of the running will automatically bank an entry into the 2024 WSOP Main Event as a bounty.
Other new highlights include:

Other Changes
In addition to the new events, adjusted starting flights for the weekend games will see either three starting flights Friday through Sunday or four starting flights Thursday through Sunday. Highly popular tournaments such as the Monster Stack, Millionaire Maker, and Colossus, are now equipped with three starting flights, potentially boosting the already massive fields.
Another change is seen in the schedule’s Mega Satellite structure which will now be played as “Landmark Mega Satellites”. Participants will only be required to accumulate a certain amount of chips to secure an entry unlike last season’s classic format. These qualifiers will be available from May 28 to July 15 with buy-ins ranging in price at $135 to as high as $25,000.
What remains the same however, is the brand’s strong partnership with GGPoker which again, will offer exclusive satellites to the 2024 WSOP games. US-counterpart and official WSOP platform, WSOP.COM will similarly offer domestic daily satellite qualifiers including Main Event satellites for as little as $1.
“Last year, 774 players made the GGPoker Road to Vegas, cashing for over $5 Million in Main Event prizes,” said Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker Global Ambassador and six-time WSOP bracelet winner. “This summer, we aim to send 1,000 players to their WSOP Dream.”
