A thrilling time for the Asian live tournament scene, this season’s WPT Korea is underway, running through March 25 – April 3, 2024 at the luxurious Landing Casino, Jeju Shinhwa World, South Korea. The action-packed ten-day schedule features 28 trophy tournaments  centered around the KR₩ 2,000,000,000 (~US$ 1.5M) guaranteed WPT Championship Event. Unlike any other, the esteemed series is bringing something new to the table with 13 WPT Rings up for the taking across the lineup.

The anticipated Main Event action kicks off this Wednesday, March 28th, playing through the first of three flights available. Each entry will set players back KR₩ 2,800,000 (~US$ 2,100) for a starting stack of 50,000, equivalent to 250 times the opening blinds. Structured similar to that of the WPT Main Tour, 60 minute levels will be up on the clock all the way down to the Final Day. Along with the top payout, the last man standing is geared to receive the WPT Korea Main Event Trophy and the region’s inaugural WPT Main Event Ring.
