The record breaking 2024 World Series of Poker $10K Main Event World Championship completed another day of eliminations with the field trimmed significantly while simultaneously avoiding the bubble. From a record turnout of 10,112 players, that amassed a $94,041,600 prize pool, after Day 3 only 1,524 remained which is just seven spots from ITM of 1,517 players.

Once again, a long list of Asians pulled through, ten bracelet winners were among them with several in great shape and several in danger entering Day 4.

Based on the reports by onsite media Pokernews, 87 Asians survived Day 3 led by America-based Chinese national Tony Ren Lin in the top 10. Lin is one of China’s one of most decorated players with $11.3 Million in cashes collected from all over the world. Lin currently sits with 195 bb. Another Chinese flag bearer in great shape is the highly decorated Biao Ding who boasts $10.7 Million in live tournament earnings. Ding currently sits in 47th rank with 141 bb.

Not too far behind is Japan’s Takumi Matsumoto ranked 14th in chips. Unlike Lin and Ding, Matsumoto only has three live cashes amounting to $4,680. With a massive 184 bb, Matsumoto is on the way to locking up a career best cash. Also bagging up a mighty stack is Yudai Futai of 150 bb. Futai is looking to improve from last year’s impressive 122nd Main Event finish.
