Richest PokerStars LIVE Manila Megastack pays out over PHP 88 Million (~$1.5M)

PokerStars LIVE Manila closed out its richest Manila Megastack series to date paying out over PHP 88 Million (~USD 1.5 Million) across 36 events. Running from February 15 to 25, 2024, the 18th edition took place at the brand’s hub in Okada Manila in the Philippine metropolis.

As seen at previous editions, a solid force of Japanese players participated, walking away with an impressive eight trophies. This was topped by the large contingent of locals that snatched up twelve of the coveted PS spades.

The highlight of course was the Main Event which set out to be the richest, and easily delivered. The event generated a record prize pool of PHP 36,034,345 (~USD 644,500), exceeding its previous record by a substantial PHP 9.5 Million. Norway’s Henrik Tollefsen emerged victorious, locking up his second PokerStars LIVE Asia major and a noteworthy PHP 5,651,000 (~USD 100,500) payout.
