Terry Fan was born in Taiwan, and has had a live professional career which began with a cash at the WSOP Main Event in 2006, good for USD$15,504.
What followed was a 3 year results hiatus, but Fan returned in 2009 with 5thplace at the APPT Cebu Main Event for over USD$30,000. 2011 saw Terry Fan visit the WSOP once again, picking up 17thplace in a Holdem event for almost USD$27,000. The WSOP in 2015 became the site of his next big cash, when he won USD$113,452 for a 5thplace finish in another Holdem event. Just a couple of months later, he was back on the Asian tour, making another final table at the APPT Manila Main Event, where he finished 4thfor USD$34,803.
