Yuri Ishida - SOMUCHPOKER

Yuri Ishida is a professional poker player from Japan, and has been very active on Asian tour events over the last 2-3 years.

She finished 5th place in the APT Player of the Year standings in 2013. The first significant cash for Ishida came in July 2012. In only her second live tournament cash, she finished 440th in the WSOP Main Event, for USD$28,530. In November of the same year, she took 20th place in the ACOP Main Event, adding another USD$22,321 to her bankroll. October 2013 saw Ishida win an APT side event in Manila, banking USD$13,183 in the process, before winning another event in March 2014, at the New Caledonia Poker Open, for USD11,081. September of the same year led to another good score for Yuri Ishida, as she took 4th place in the ACOP Platinum Series, adding a further USD$11,745 to her winnings. Just over a month later, in Macau, the APPT ACOP Main Event saw her bank another USD$26,047 to her bankroll, when she finished 31st place. Just four days later, she finished 2nd place in another ACOP event, boosting her all time cashes by USD$41,635. The WSOP of 2015 led to another decent cash for Ishida, as she took 25th place in a Holdem Extended Play Event, for another USD$13,953.

Yuri Ishida is certainly not one of the best known players from Japan, but she has been working hard on the live tournament circuit for a few years now, and continues to put up consistent, steady results.
