Andrew Gaw - SOMUCHPOKER
Andrew Gaw has been grinding the live tournament circuit both in Asia, and at the WSOP throughout his career so far, having registered his first live cash in early 2011.
His accomplishments have seen him rise into the top 5 of the Philippines all time money list. Andrew Gaw’s first cash was a small one, at the Macau Poker Cup in February 2011. He followed this up with a more substantial USD$31,072 win in July, at the Bellagio Cup in Las Vegas. Several four figure scores arrived through the next year, until November 2012, when he finished 10th in the ACOP Main Event for USD$44,642. Gaw went through something of a lean spell after that, having to wait until October 2014 before seeing another five figure cash. That eventually did arrive at WPT Philippines, when he took 6th place in the Main Event for USD$30,778. Thankfully, Gaw didn’t have to endure another difficult spell, managing to take 3rd place in a WSOP Holdem Mix Max event in June 2015, winning USD$109,015 in the process. The APT Cebu High Roller event in August saw Andrew Gaw add a further USD$26,098 to his list of cashes, when he managed to take 1st place. Andrew Gaw has spent the early part of his career working hard to build his career, and with a USD$109,015 score now in his bankroll, has every chance of building on this platform and becoming a major force on Asian shores, and in WSOP events.
