Chaar-Lee discovered poker over 20 years ago, starting with fixed-limit games before embracing the rise of No-Limit Hold’em across cash games, STTs, and MTTs. In the early days, he and his circle sometimes played more than 40 different formats in a single night. He organized the first poker camp in his region and has contributed poker technology to several televised shows. Today, he supports the SOMUCHPOKER team from the tech side, blending two decades of poker passion with technical expertise.

If you enjoy sitting back and watching some of the best poker players in the world go head to head on your TV screen, you will not be disappointed in the coming months. Televised poker is back on our screens in 2018, with fresh content, along with (maybe) classic seasons of High Stakes Poker.

PokerStars Championship Cash Challenge with Kevin Hart

This latest televised offering from PokerStars is the PokerStars Cash Challenge with Kevin Hart. This concept involves four professional players sitting down with a qualifier and comedian Kevin Hart to play a 25/50 Euros cash game, with players buying in for up to 25,000 Euros. Daniel Negreanu takes his place in the episode 1 line-up alongside Hart, Charlie Carrel, Liv Boeree, Faraz Jaka and the online qualifier. Early episodes are already available to watch on YouTube.

High Stakes Poker almost available on YouTube?

This is an announcement that remains in the balance, because although the entire back catalogue of High Stakes Poker episodes did appear on the official YouTube Channel of Game Show Network, they had suddenly disappeared at the time of writing.

However, this poker show is probably the best-loved televised cash game offering that has ever been, which means we should expect it to be available to poker fans eventually. Game Show Network own the rights to the show, but apparently have not yet decided how to proceed in terms of airing old episodes or filming new ones.

The Big Game Makes a Return Featuring PLO at Partypoker MILLIONS Germany

The Big Game is Back!
The Big Game is Back!

The Big Game has been one of the more entertaining televised cash games in recent years and is set to make a return to our screens next month. The venue for this cash game is Rozvadov, where the Partypoker MILLIONS will be in full swing. The game will run for 36 hours and feature blinds of 50/100 Euros, with players such as Sam Trickett, Viktor Blom, Rob Yong and Phil Laak all scheduled to play. The game will be streamed to audiences on February 10th and will run for three days. The live stream will eventually be edited into television show for those who would rather see the highlights reel.
