Poker Dream Vietnam: Main Event shatters guarantee, sets new record of ₫17.9 Billion
Poker Dream‘s inaugural Vietnam series is now the richest poker event ever staged in the country. Kicking off on October 14 in Hoi An, at the Grand Hall of Hoiana Hotel & Suites, it broke the US$ 1 Million dollar marker on Day 5, and was on pace to set even greater heights with the headliner yet to come.
On October 20, the Main Event took center stage, and after three starting days, it drew a record breaking 822 entries and a record prize pool of ₫17,940,150,000 (~$731,350). This is now the largest Main Event pot ever amassed in Vietnam, beating the previous record set last month by over ₫100M. It is also the largest Main Event field produced in the country of the same buy in.
