PKC “The Home of the World’s Biggest Game”
PKC is one of Asia’s long-standing poker brands founded back in 2009, they are recognized as “The Home of the World’s Biggest Game”. These games are highly exclusive and are held at their private poker rooms. To date, they have three rooms, the Poker King Club Macau at the Venetian Macao, the Poker King Club Manila in Solaire Resort & Casino, and the Poker King Club Korea at Maison Glad Hotel Jeju.
In 2016, PKC organized the first Triton Super High Roller Series, the US$200,000 Super High Roller event at the WPT National Philippines won by German prodigy, Fedor Holz. Later that year, PKC held its first standalone event, the Poker King Cup National, which took place in Manila in 2016.
This was followed by the launch of a new series, the Suncity Cup in September 2017. The event was coined Asia’s Largest Poker Championship offering a massive HK$8 Million Guarantee. Entry legs were held in Incheon, Manila, and Macau with 928 entries.
PKC’s latest event was the inaugural Oriental Poker Championship held at the Venetian Macao just three months ago. This new event took place one month after the Chinese government sent notice of a country ban on Texas Hold’em online apps starting June 2018. While this led to several poker events being cancelled, the OPC proceeded as planned and drew in 513 entries for a prize pool in the ballpark of US$950,000.
