Elite Korean players converge at Crown Poker Series; Min Jung Kim wins first trophy; 12 players advance to Opener Event Final Day
The newest poker series in town, Crown Poker Series (CPS), kicked off on April 21, 2023 at the Crown Plaza Da Nang, Vietnam. This highly anticipated event has already seen elite players from Korea arrive and jump straight into the action. This may well be the beginning of a Korean driven high roller series in the region.
Created by renowned poker enthusiast Dong Hyun Kim aka Tommy Kim, and powered by Lucky Poker Tour, CPS features a VN₫ 14 billion guarantee and is set to run for eight days, concluding on April 28, 2023. Two opening events have already taken place. Scroll down for the results.
As it enters Day 2, the headliner VN₫ 10 Billion (~US$ 426,500) guaranteed MAIN EVENT gets on the floor. Buy in is a whopping VN₫ 44,000,000 (~US$ 1,875), the largest Main Event price tag extended by any brand (Triton excluded). A total of four entry flights are scheduled running on April 22 to 24 followed by Day 2 and the Final Day.
