Ace Poker League Seoul kicks off today featuring KR₩2.5 Billion (~USD 1.88 Million) in guaranteed prize pools

Nonstop poker continues in Seoul, South Korea with the Ace Poker League next on the plate. Revered as the biggest brand in the country, players can expect another lucrative festival with an ambitious ₩2.5 Billion (~USD 1.88 Million) guaranteed across 19 events. That’s over ₩600M more than its previous series. The Main Eventfeatures the most substantial prize pool of₩1.1 Billion (~USD 827,500). It all gets underway today October 3 and runs until October 9 at the Swiss Grand Hotel.

For those just hearing of this event, for the past few years, APL has focused its attention on the South Korean market and has since become the most sought after brand in the country. Last May, the brand paid over KR₩ 1,854,000,000 (~US$ 1.42 Million)during its APL City Series Tour, and those impressive results have not gone unnoticed.

International players have caught wind with many expressing interest. Among those to be expected are David Tai and elite proBertrand “ElkY” Grospellierwho has been touring the Asian circuit for the past few months.

Kicking off today’s action is the Mini Main Event with three flights to enter. For high rollers, one is scheduled, however for those that’s haven’t secured a Main Event Day 2 seat, the time to do so is immediately. By law, once the guarantee has been reached, registration is closed. It is advisable to sign up as early as possible to secure your spot. One Main Event flight is offered today.

To participate, players need to win their seats via the 2ACE online poker app (GG skin). Wrapping up the series, players also have chance at winning packages to WSOP Paradise Bahamasin December.
