Get ready for Jeju International Poker Tour, Kicks Off this Sunday – April 7 to April 14; Player Guide Released
With live poker booming all over Asia, a new brand has joined the field, the Jeju International Poker Tour (JIPT), organized and hosted by the Korea Hold’em Association. The eight day series is right around the corner, running from April 7 to 14, 2024 at the five-star Jeju Oriental Hotel & Casino in Jeju Island, South Korea. Korean nationals and foreigners are expected to attend including a large contingent of Chinese players.

Jeju International Poker Tour – Main Event
The Jeju International Poker Tour’s best offering is the Main Event highlighted by its ambitious KR₩ 600,000,000 (~USD 444,000) guaranteed prize pool. The event runs April 9 to 14, 2024 with buy in of KR₩ 1,700,000 (~USD 1,260). Players have four chances to try to snatch a piece of the pot and become the first ever JIPT champion.
Jeju International Poker Tour kicks off with JIPT Opener
To get a feel of the new brand and what it has to offer, the Jeju International Poker Tour – JIPT Opener is the way to go. With its affordable buy in of KR₩ 500,000 (~USD 370), two flights are offered both running on opening day, April 7, 2024. For Day 1A, players start with a deep 125 bb stack and blinds increasing at a gradual 30 minute pace. For the evening Day 1B Turbo, blinds increase at a faster 20 minutes.
