Jeju International Poker Tour Main Event draws 389 entries; Koreans dominate side events

 

The Jeju International Poker Tour (JIPT) has proven to be a successful launch as a large contingent of Korean nationals battled alongside international players at the Jeju Oriental Hotel & Casino in Jeju Island, South Korea. Hosted by Korea Hold’em Association, the eight-day series kicked off on April 7 and running until April 14, 2024.

Topping the headlines was the Jeju International Poker Tour Main Event which concluded all of its entry days with 389 total entries. This was just enough to meet the KR₩ 600,000,000 (~USD 444,000) prize pool. Returning to action today were 95 players, everyone guaranteed a piece of the pot.
