Hanoi Super Series pays out ₫14.3B ($588.7K); Đinh Quang Huy tops Player of the Series; Lê Văn DiễN wins SHR event; final highlights inside

After seven days of festivities that ran from November 28 to December 4 at the Grand Loyal Poker Club,  the inaugural Hanoi Super Series  concluded with a total of ₫14,345,160,000 (~$588,760) paid out and ten players walking away with event trophies. The HSS was the first of its kind in Hanoi, Vietnam and was a collaborative effort by Korea Mind Game Members (KMGM) and Hanoi Series of Poker (HSOP).

On closing day, several players hoisted trophies which included Đinh Quang Huy who topped the counts at the Player of the Series race. We have that story for you below including festival highlights and final festival side winners.

ĐINH QUANG HUY wins Player of the Series

Đinh Quang Huy opened the series with a stunning victory at the Warm Up event then closed it with a 3rd place finish at the Super High Roller to accrue 652.90 points, the highest result in the Player of the Series race. Huy was awarded a World Poker Championship 2023 Kick Off seat worth ₫8,800,000 (~$355) and a special trophy to commemorate the achievement.  

LÊ VĂN DIỄN banks the Super High Roller for ₫974,000,000 (~$39,975)

Career high takedown by Lê Văn Diễn at the Super High Roller, overcoming a loaded field filled with decorated pros to claim the ₫974,000,000 (~$39,975) winner’s purse. He denied Đinh Văn Tiến and Warm Up event champion Đinh Quang Huy to clinch his maiden live title.
