Yuequan Jia of China emerged victorious in the Survivor $1.5K Bounty at WPT Cambodia 2026, outlasting a competitive 319 entry field to claim the title after an action packed final day at NagaWorld.

The $800 buy in event with a guarantee of $200,000, generated a $222,790 prize pool and featured a $1,500 bounty on every elimination, creating constant pressure and fast paced action throughout the tournament. Play resumed on Day 2 with 41 players remaining, all already in the money and chasing both payouts and bounties.

The road to the final table was anything but smooth. All ins, flips, and dramatic double knockouts defined the late stages as stacks swung rapidly. Multiple players found crucial doubles to stay alive, while others were sent to the rail in quick succession as the field narrowed from double digits to the final eight.

Jia entered the final table among the shorter stacks but stayed composed, picking his spots and surviving key confrontations to climb back into contention. His patience paid off, including a key rivered straight against chip leader Joshua Figuerres that shifted momentum late in the game.

Heads up play began with Figuerres holding the chip lead, but it did not take long for Jia to seize control. In the decisive hand, heavy action erupted on the turn, leading to an all in showdown where Jia’s higher straight prevailed to lock up the championship.

For his win, Jia collected the $28,500 top prize, an additional $2,700 in excess bounties, three bounties worth $4,500, and a $1,100 seat to the WPT Prime Championship.

Joshua Figuerres - Runner Up

Figuerres finished runner-up, earning $18,290 plus eight bounties worth $12,000, bringing his total payout to $30,290 after a dominant late-stage performance that included multiple eliminations and a rare double knockout at the final table.

Anmol Mehta - 3rd Place

Anmol Mehta of India completed the podium in third place for $11,600, while the final table also featured deep runs from Quan Qiu, Evgenii Bolotov, Lauren Piha, Amit Kaushik, and Valeriy Fokin.

With constant bounty pressure, frequent all-ins, and several momentum shifts at the final table, the Survivor 1.5K Bounty once again lived up to its name, ending with Yuequan Jia adding his name to the WPT Cambodia champions list.

After a short heads-up battle and a decisive setup hand, Yuequan Jia was crowned champion of the Survivor 1.5K Bounty, earning the $28,500 top prize along with $2,700 in excess bounties, a $1,100 seat to the WPT Prime Championship, and three bounties worth $4,500.

The $800 buy-in event carried a $200,000 guarantee and surpassed that figure following strong participation. With all remaining players already in the money, focus now shifts to the higher payouts and bounty rewards still available as the tournament resumes.

Play will continue with 40-minute blind levels, allowing for measured play while still creating pressure as stacks clash. Each elimination is worth a $1,500 bounty, adding an additional layer of strategy and influencing decision-making throughout the day.

In addition to the bounties, the tournament winner will receive $28,500, plus $2,700 in excess bounties awarded exclusively to the champion, along with a $1,100 seat to the WPT Prime Championship.

Li Lu enters the final day as the chip leader with 721,000, though several players remain within range as the field works toward a final table and eventual champion.
