Close behind is Pang Kok Yong, who finished the night with 526,000, while Armaan Kochhar rounds out the top three with 511,000, keeping the leaderboard tightly contested at the top.
Among the notable survivors is PLO specialist Terry Gonzaga, one of the Philippines’ top poker players, who successfully bagged 283,000. Also advancing is Joshua Figuerres, fresh off a runner-up finish in the Survivor $1.5K Bounty, though he returns for Day 2 as the shortest stack with 86,000.
Defending champion Erik Rozhynskyi also advanced after failing to bag on Day 1A. Rozhynskyi bagged 276,000 and is one to watch heading into Day 2.
