Kevin Ewald opens from under the gun and Artem Vezhenkov calls from the button. At the flop 9♥ 5♠ 6♠ , Ewald continues for 120,00, Vezhenkov raises to 270,000, Ewald jams and is snap-called.

Ewald has A♥ 9♦ top pair that's way behind Vezhenkov's 5♦ 5♥ set. The turn 4♥ and river K♥ finishes off Ewald in 17th place.

Following a limp from under the gun Kevin Ewald, big blind Victor Li jams and is snap-called.

Upon revealing, it's a flip. An ace turns up on the board 3♠ 6♠ 6♥ A♠ T♣ to end Li's run in 21st place.

There were 750 entries in the WPT Cambodia Championship, and there are only 23 players remaining as Day 4 begins today at 11:30 am. Here is the lineup with official chip counts:

Kevin Ewald limps in from hijack then shoves 1,065,000 on top of Ronald Haverkamp's 75,000 raise from cutoff. Haverkamp likes his hand and says, "I can't believe I am folding a big hand", then folds and shows A♦ Q♦ . Ewald returns the gesture and shows A♠ K♣ .

Once the final three tables are set, Aditya Agarwal raises into the blinds and Sho Homma defends. Homma check-calls for 85,000 on the A♣ J♠ 7♦ flop and checks the K♦ turn. Agarwal now bets 225,000 and that wins the pot without further resistance.

Kevin Ewald squeezes to 250,000 preflop and then calls the shove by initial raiser Hugues Girard for 490,000 with the A♠ Q♠ The WPT Prime Paris 2025 champion Girard is ahead with the T♣ T♠ and flips to a double on the 9♦ 2♣ 2♠ 5♥ 5♠ runout.

Yinghao Zhuo three-bets 100,000 with K♦ K♥ and initial raiser Kevin Ewald gives him some action. They check to the turn 8♥ K♠ 5♣ J♥ . Zhuo bets a light 65,000 for his set and Ewald check-calls. On the river 8♠ , Zhuo uses up a time-bank then slides out 100,000, this is enough to get a call from Ewald who then mucks to the full house.

Kevin Ewald loses a small pot to Hugues Girard when he check-calls the river of a J♠ 9♣ 7♦ K♣ 8♠ river for 50,000 and mucks against the 8♠ of the Frenchman.

Two hands later, he more than makes up for it by sending Michael Gathy to the rail.

They get it in after a 9♦ 5♦ 4♥ flop and Gathy needs a lot of help with the Q♥ 9♥ for top pair, as Ewald is miles ahead holding the 4♣ 4♠ for bottom set. The T♥ turn opens up the flush draw but the 3♦ river is a blank.

Ankit Ahuja had previously won a healthy pot by betting out Yukako Hiroi. She then jams over the top of the short stack all-in of Shmuel Snir Bechor, who is at risk for 101,000 only.

Kevin Ewald in the blinds happily calls all-in for 717,000 as he has the A♥ A♦

Bechor with the A♣ K♠ and Hiroi with A♠ K♥ need a lot of help. They actually have the chance for an unlikely chop after the J♥ 6♣ 4♠ 3♦ turn but the wheel never completes, instead it is the 9♣ that follows on the river.

After the hand is over, Hiroi asks if she should have just called the first all-in preflop. The answer from several players is yes, but as Michael Gathy points out "you just saved time", referring to the likely call of Ewald's reshove.

Juyeol Lee has been on attack mode for nearly an orbit. Facing a raise from the button Kevin Ewald, he drops two chips in from the small blind and attempts to take one back but it's binding so he is forced to three-bet. Action goes back to Ewald who calls. At the flop T♥ 7♦ 5♦ , Lee checks, Ewald shoves and drags in the pot while showing Lee A♠ 7♠ .

Next hand, Lee three-bet shoves on the button on top of Shmuel Bechor's raise then wins with no callers. Repeat action at cutoff, Lee shoves 282,000 to push out raiser Dominik Nitsche from the pot.

Still feeling feisty, Lee loses 20,000 on the next hand by calling a raise then folding at the flop but makes up for it by shoving on the next two hands to collect the blinds and ante.

Still not done, Lee opens from under the gun and big blind Ewald calls. At the flop Q♦ Q♣ A♠ , Lee continues for 18,000 and wins the pot again.

On the eighth consecutive hand, Lee three-bets 75,000 from the big blind and raiser Dominik Nitsche calls. They proceed to check to the turn J♠ Q♥ J♣ Q♣ where Nitsche bets 125,000 and wins the pot with Lee folding

On a flop of 9♠ 9♣ 5♥ with 95,000 in the middle, Kevin Ewald checks and Juyeol Lee bets 35,000. Ewald check-jams for 167,000 and Lee goes deep into the tank. He uses three time banks and then folds with two seconds left on the action clock.

With the flop showing K♦ 8♣ 6♥ , Sho Homma in the blinds check-raises to 40,000. Kevin Ewald then clicks it back to 80,000 and Homma goes into a brief tank. He opts to fold and Ewald flashes the A♠ T♥ for ace-high only.

Peteris Enders is all in for 48,000 with K♦ T♣ , and he needs to improve to stay alive against Kevin Ewald's T♠ T♦ .

The board comes 7♥ 5♣ 4♣ J♥ K♣ , and Enders spikes a king on the river to win the pot and double up in chips.

Dhaval Mudgal is all in from the cutoff for 28,500 with A♣ T♠ , and he needs to improve to stay alive against the A♠ K♠ of Kevin Ewald, who is under the gun.

The board comes K♣ 5♥ 4♦ 7♥ 6♦ , and Ewald wins the pot with a pair of kings to eliminate Mudgal from Day 1A.

End of the road for short stacked Joseph Adams who is all in holding Q♠ T♠ trips on a board Q♥ 9♦ 5♥ Q♣ J♣ that is still behind Kevin Ewald's A♠ Q♦ trips with top kicker.

Kevin Ewald defends his big blind by calling the under the gun raise from Aladin Reskallah. At the flop Q♦ 6♦ J♠ , Ewald test bets, Reskallah calls, then both check the turn 5♥ . No more checking for Ewald on the river 7♦ with a big shove of 67,000, Reskallah tanks for around five minutes and the clock is called. Down to a seconds, Reskallah folds.
