WPT Cambodia Championship ($3,500)

There were 403 entries on Day 1B of the WPT Cambodia Championship, creating a total field of 750 entries and generating a prizepool worth $2,400,750, crushing the $1.5 million guarantee.

The final 94 players will finish in the money, and here are the payouts:

Supakit Anukoolpitaknil check-calls the Q♥ 6♦ 3♥ flop for 11,500 when Yuhan Liu bets and they then check down the 3♣ turn as well as the 4♠ river.

Anukoolpitaknil tables 2♠ 2♣ and Liu mucks, mentions he has ace-king.

During the final hands of the night, Yannick Jobin jams for around 90,000 preflop with A♠ K♦ right into the A♥ A♣ of chip leader Ivan Karatayeu. There is no upset on the J♦ 5♥ 5♠ 2♠ 7♠ board and the WPT Prime Cambodia finalist exits at the end of Day 1b.

With the board showing A♦ 8♥ 3♥ 5♠ on the turn, the player in the big blind gets it all in for about 45,000 with A♣ T♥ for a pair of aces, but he needs to catch a ten on the river to stay alive against the A♠ Q♣ (pair of aces, queen kicker) of Rahul Melwani, who is UTG+1.

The river card is the 2♦, and Melwani wins the pot with his queen kicker to eliminate his opponent from the tournament.

Naj Ajez was just eliminated on a board of A♠ K♠ 4♠ Q♣ A♥ .

Ajez had 9♠ 6♠ for a flopped spade flush, but Amit Kaushik held Q♠ Q♦ for a set of queens on the run and a full house on the river.

Kaushik won the pot to eliminate Ajez from the tournament.

Rudolf Fourie raises UTG+1 to 6,000, Joshua Figuerres moves all in from the hijack for 40,000, and Fourie quickly calls with 9♠ 9♦ .

Figuerres turns over A♠ K♠ , and needs to improve to stay alive.

The board comes A♦ T♥ T♣ Q♥ K♦ , and Figuerres wins the pot with two pair, aces and kings, to double up in chips.

Naj Ajez raises to 5,000 and Kristof Mato then jams for the last 14,000 in the next seat. It folds back to the Aussie and Ajez calls with A♣ Q♦ . Mato needs his J♠ J♥ to hold but the A♠ 9♥ 5♠ 5♥ Q♠ board ends his run.

Nadav Cohen is all-in with 8♥ 8♦ and dominated by the Q♦ Q♣ of Kiyoung Kim. There is a sweat until the A♣ 9♥ 7♠ T♠ turn but the river is a blank to send Cohen to the rail. Also on the table is last year's runner-up Joshua Mccully with an average stack.

Bo Su five-bets all in from the cutoff for 98,000, and Mike Takayama calls from middle position with K♥ J♠. Su turns over A♥ K♣ , and needs it to hold to stay alive.

The board comes 8♥ 4♦ 2♥ 5♥ A♦ , and Su leads the entire way and wins the pot with a pair of aces to double up in chips.

The evening is winding down with fewer than 160 players remaining, the field for an above average stack continues. Shai Arbel check-raises a bet of Emmanuel Segismundo on the Q♠ J♠ 9♠ flop from 6,500 to 15,000.

Arbel then leads the 4♦ turn for Segismundo to call again and they check the 8♠ river when the fourth spade arrives. Segismundo shakes his head, Arbel tables J♣ 6♠ and Segismundo mucks while partly exposing the five of spades.

The cards of Thi Hue Dang are in the muck and she heads to the rail where Ngoc Anh Cao is waiting. Karan Sitlani rakes in the pot with his J♦ J♠ on a board of K♣ 8♦ 5♦ Q♦ 4♥ .

"I had a straight," Alfie Adam says.

David Erquiaga leads the T♥ T♦ 3♠ J♠ turn for 3,500 and Khayal Abbasov calls. They check the A♠ river and Erquiaga tables the A♣ 2♥ , Abbassov chops with the A♦ 3♠ .

"Setup hand," the former WPT Prime Cambodia champion Erquiaga jokes and Abbassov replies "cooler".

Level 10 comes to an end, and Level 11 begins with increased blinds of 1,500-2,500 and a 2,500 ante. Play continues without a break.

With 161 players remaining from a Day 1B field of 403, the average chip count is around 125,000 (50 big blinds).

Action will continue tonight until the end of Level 11, around 11:45 pm.

The official numbers have been released, and with a total field of 750 entries, the prizepool is worth $2,400,750 (easily crushing the $1.5 million guarantee), and the final 94 players will finish in the money. On a flop of 7♠ 7♣ 2♠ , Hassan Sey bets 15,500 in the small blind. Jacson Feng raises to 45,000 on the button and Sey calls to then check the 9s[/p] on the turn. Feng repeats his wager of 45,000 only for Sey to shove for another 87,000 on top.

While Feng is in the tank, Sey seems rather relaxed and even starts some table chat. He asks if Feng has jacks or tens, then receives the fold half a minute later.

In a preflop flip, Aditya Agarwal is the player at risk for 37,000 with T♠ T♣ against the A♣ K♠ of Aladin Reskallah. The A♥ T♥ 6♠ Q♥ 9♦ board pairs Agarwal's ten for a set and he dodges the gutshot.

After a flop of Q♦ 9♥ 7♦ , Rui Bouquet checks from the small blind, Jacson Feng checks from the big blind, and Hassan Sey bets 7,000 from under the gun. Bouquet check-raises all in for 30,000, and Feng tanks for a long time before he calls. Sey also calls, and any further betting will create a side pot.

The turn card is the 8♥ , and both players check.

The river card is the J♥ , Feng checks, Sey bets 25,000, and Feng folds.

Bouquet shows J♦ 9♦ for two pair, jacks and nines, but Sey turns over Q♥ J♠ to win the pot with a higher two pair, queens and nines. Bouquet is eliminated from the tournament.

Paul Hoefer opens to 4,000 from under the gun and calls a three-bet to 13,000 by Dinesh Alt in the cutoff. They check the 9♦ 8♣ 7♥ flop before Hoefer bets the 8♦ turn for 10,500 and the 2♣ river for 5,500.

Alt calls the first bet swiftly, then mulls over the final decision for half a minute to call. Hoefer rolls over 5♠ 5♥ and Alt takes it down with the K♦ K♠ .

In the last hand before the break, Pete Chen bet-folds the A♥ T♠ 8♥ J♦ T♣ river for half of his short stack when Jacson Feng raises big.

Feng then opens to 5,000 in the hijack and Hassan Sey calls in the cutoff. Chen jams for 15,500 on the button and both call. They check the entire Q♦ 9♦ 4♣ 8♥ T♣ board and Chen reveals 5♦ 5♠ .

Sey has the 7♣ 7♥ but Feng wins the pot with the J♥ 6♥ for the straight.

"What did you have in the last hand?" Chen asks and Feng replies "full house ... ten jack".

The players return from break to begin Level 10, with increased blinds of 1,000-2,000 and a 2,000 ante.

Registration is now closed, and the tournament clock shows an unofficial field size of 403 entries for Day 1B. If that number holds, the prizepool will be worth around $2.4 million. The official prizepool should be released later tonight.

Action will continue tonight until the end of Level 11, around 11:45 pm.

Big pot of 48,000 by the turn 4♦ 8♣ K♣ T♠ sees a near pot by by small blind Ivan Karatayeu of 45,000 to send Peter Da deep in thought. When Da calls, he tanks again on the river 3♦ after Karatayeu pushes. Da eventually let's go of his hand.

Patrick Mahoney kicks it off from under the gun for 3500, hijack Chengcai Pan and big blind Ivan Deyra call, then they all check the flop . Action returns on the turn T♥ with a bet of 8000 from Mahoney, Pan raises 20,000, and Deyra gets out of the way. On the river Q♦ it is back to checking.

Mahoney shows K♣ J♣ , Pan wins the pot with Q♥ K♥ .

In the last hand before the late registration break, Naj Ajez three-bets and leads the K♠ 9♦ 3♠ flop for Gary Lin to call. They check the K♥ turn and Ajez jams the 2♦ river for 71,500. Lin snap-calls with king-jack but Ajez has him beat with the A♠ K♣ .

From the big blind, Artem Vezhenkov defends by calling under the gun Teng Yang Hoo's preflop raise then watches as the dealer spreads 3♣ 4♠ 7♣ . Hoo continues for 3000, Vezhenkov check-raises 11,000, Hoo tank-calls. Vezhenkov then leads out the turn Q♦ for 13,500 and another check-call from Hoo.

When the board completes T♥ , Vezhenkov tanks then sends out a 60,000 bet, once more Hoo goes in the tank then makes the call. Vezhenkov flips open 7♥ 4♥ two pair, Hoo mucks

With the final board showing 9♣ 7♣ 6♥ 9♦ 2♠ and about 240K already in the pot, Jerwin Pasco checks from the small blind, Daniel Neilson moves all in from the cutoff for 129,000, and Pasco goes into the tank.

Pasco is in the tank for a long time before he folds, and Neilson takes the pot to build his stack up to about 370,000 in chips.

With the board showing J♣ 5♦ 2♠ 2♦ on the turn, Renat Bohdanov bets 8,500 from the small blind, Shai Arbel moves all in from UTG+1 for 31,000, and Bohdanov goes into the tank.

Bohdanov is in the tank for a couple of minutes before somebody calls for a clock, and shortly after that, Bohdanov calls with T♥ T♦ .

But Arbel turns over J♦ 9♦ for a pair of jacks, and needs it to hold to stay alive.

The river card is the Q♥ , and Arbel wins the pot with his pair of jacks to double up in chips.

There is a squeeze to 53,000 in front of Jhon Hendri and he then faces the shove by Zijing Zhan for 112,000 with all other players out of the way. Hendri tanks for nearly two minutes with 51,500 behind and eventually calls all-in, turning over the 7♥ 6♥ .

His risk doesn't pay off, as the A♥ J♣ of Zhan lock up the pot on the turn of the 5♥ 2♠ 2♣ A♣ Q♣ board.

Vadzim Lipauka is all-in with a severe short stack and Jungsup Yun calls with the Q♠ T♠ . The A♥ Q♦ of Lipauka are out in front and have little to fear on the A♠ 6♥ 2♦ K♦ 3♥ runout. Next to Yun is the current chip leader Dylan DeStefano, who now takes advantage of the table side massage at NagaWorld.

With the board showing 9♦ 8♠ 8♣ 6♥ on the turn, Somasekhar Sanampuri gets it all in under the gun for about 40,000 with T♦ 7♦ for a ten-high straight, but he is drawing dead to the 9♥ 8♥ (full house) of Emmanuel Segismundo in the cutoff.

The meaningless river card is the T♣ , and Segismundo wins the pot with his full house to eliminate Sanampuri.

With the turn showing A♦ T♥ 8♠ Q♦ , Huu Dung Nguyen in the big blind checks and Paul Hoefer on the button bets 13,500. Nguyen calls and Hoefer instantly knuckles back the 7♣ on the river.

Nguyen shows J♥ 9♦ for the queen-high straight and wins the pot.

I-Chun "Charlie" Chiu opens for 3000 and is joined by cutoff Mikiya Kudo to see the flop 8♥ Q♠ 4♣ . Chiu passes the baton to Kudo who bets 4000 and Chiu calls. Same action on the turn 3♠ with a bet of 10,000 from Kudo that Chiu calls. On the river 9♦ , Kudo announces all in for 28,500, Chiu surrenders his hand.

John Matsuda picks up A♠ Q♠ and raises 3000, down the orbit Pheap Chea has A♣ 8♣ and feels it's the right time to risk his last 26,500. Matsuda calls and dominates. No change comes on the board K♣ 7♠ 2♥ J♠ 9♥ for Matsuda to collect the pot.

Valeriy Fokin is all in from the button for 41,500 with A♥ J♦ , and he needs to improve to stay alive against the T♦ T♣ of Francisco Sanchez Mir in the big blind.

The board comes A♦ 9♥ 2♣ 3♠ 5♠ , and Fokin pairs his ace on the flop to win the pot and double up in chips.

On a heads-up flop of 6♦ 6♣ 5♦ , Ryo Kotake and Tom Verbruggen check to the 8♥ turn. Kotake checks again and Verbruggen bets 8,000 for his opponent to call.

Kotake also checks the 7♥ on the river and Verbruggen bets 28,000 with 17,500 behind. The check-raise to 60,000 by Kotake follows and Verbruggen folds.

After some preflop action, Christian Harder moves all in from the button for84,600, and Xinhong Chen tanks for several minutes into the break before he calls from middle position with J♥ J♣ .

Harder turns over Q♠ Q♣ , and needs it to hold to stay alive.

The board comes A♥ J♠ 4♦ 6♥ 7♦ , and Chen flops a set of jacks to win the pot and eliminate Harger.

A scan of the field during the break turned up 12 players with at least 200K in chips, creating an unofficial leaderboard:

Rui Bouquet raises to 3,000 on the button and table short stack Kaifan Wang defends the big blind with only 9,000 behind. On the A♠ 8♦ 7♠ flop, Wang checks and Bouquet bets 5,000. The reluctant shove follows and Bouquet calls with the K♦ 7♥ .

Wang is ahead with K♥ 8♥ and has nothing to fear on the 3♥ T♠ runout.

The players return from break to begin Level 9, with increased blinds of 1,000-1,500 and a 1,500 ante.

The tournament clock shows 361 entries so far on Day 1B, increasing the tournament total to 708. The prizepool has surpassed the $1.5 million guarantee, and it's up to more than $2.26 million. Registration remains open with unlimited re-entries until the start of Level 10, around 9:45 pm.

Action will continue tonight until the end of Level 11, around 11:45 pm.

Big stacked Kiyoung Kim drives the betting to 2500 and gets called by Adrian Garcia and small blind Arun Sriram. At the flop 5♠ 7♦ A♣ , Kim continues for another 2500 and both opponents stick around for the turn T♣ . Following two checks, cutoff Garcia bets 12,000 and it's enough to claim the pot.

Kristof Mato defends his small blind by calling Najeem Ajez's button raise. At the flop 5♦ K♠ 3♣ , Ajez lays out a small bet that gets Mato to bite. On the turn K♣ , Ajez fires a larger 12,000 bet, Mato calls again to complete the board with a river A♦ .

Mato leads out 20,000, Ajez raises to 40,000, Mato tanks then eventually makes the call. When Ajez shows K♥ 3♠ full house, Mato grunts while showing K♦ 8♦ trips.

Preflop battle of raises ends with a pot of 18,800 and two players dealt a flop J♥ J♣ 7♦ . Abhijith Cheruku bets 4500 and Raffaele Sorrentino calls. They then check down the turn 4♣ and 9♥ .

Cheruku shows A♠ K♣ , Sorrentino wins with T♦ T♠ .

The cards are all but scooped up by the dealer and a large pot is shipped over to Azizjon Rakhimov, while Luc Ramos can only grab a handful of chips into his palm and sigh.

On a board of 9♠ 7♠ 2♠ K♥ 5♠ , the K♠ K♣ of Rakhimov are ahead all the way versus A♦ Q♠ and that leaves Ramos on fumes.

On the tail end of a K♥ 8♥ 7♥ J♥ J♦ board, Michel Molenaar checks and Lynn Gilmartin bets 11,000 into around 21,000. Molenaar reluctantly pays it off and is shown A♥ 9♦ for the ace-high flush. The Dutch player mucks 6♥ 5♥ for the flopped flush and missed straight flush.

Minh Thanh Nguyen raises to 2,500 from an early position and it folds all the way to Charlie Chiu in the big blind, who three-bets to 13,200. Nguyen calls and then also calls a bet worth 7,500 by Chiu on the K♠ 3♥ 3♦ flop.

Chiu bets another 15,000 on the K♣ turn to receive a call and checks the J♥ on the river.

Nguyen now bets 15,000 and Chiu tank-calls with the Q♣ Q♠ , which beats Nguyen's A♥ Q♦ for a decent pot.

From hijack, Donghyup Kim raises 2500, small blind James Rann goes all in for14,700, big blind Jennifer Cassell smooth-calls and Kim joins for a possible side pot. Both players take it easy and check to the river A♦ 4♦ 5♦ K♦ 4♥ . Kim bets30,000 but no action as Cassell folds.

Rann flips open A♣ Q♦ and say he didn't realize he had a diamond. Kim has J♦ J♣ lower flush for a triple up to the short stack.

Kaifan Wang is all-in for the last 3,900 and Renat Bohdanov calls on the button, as does Pablo Beltran de Heredia in the big blind. They check to the K♣ 3♣ 2♦ A♦ 3♦ river. Prior to any showdown, an excited Wang already tries to grab the pot and gets a slap on the fingers by the dealers.

Wang then shows 5♥ 4♥ for the wheel, which beats Bohdanov's 9♠ 7♠ and the K♦ Q♠ of Beltran de Heredia.

Following a raise by Jun Lai that's called by two players including small blind Rahul Bhatia, the big blind player Fernando Borges three-bets 11,200. This induces two folds before Bhatia gives it a quick thought and goes all in for just over double. Borges calls.

Bhatia is behind with A♥ J♣ against Borges's A♣ K♥ . The board further ensures Borges's win running K♠ 4♣ 7♥ 3♥ 9♦ .

Fabian Rolli in the big blind three-bet jams for 24,700 with the K♣ T♣ and button raiser Abhijith Cheruku calls with the 9♥ 9♠ .

The overcards strike on the Q♦ T♦ 4♣ A♦ 6♣ and Rolli leaps back above the starting stack.

Following a min-raise by Anil Adiani and two callers, Emmanuel Segismundo jams out of the small blind for 35,800. Adiani calls all-in and the other two players fold for the Indian to flip over Q♥ Q♣ .

Segismundo only has A♦ Q♦ but goes runner-runner on the K♥ 9♦ 7♥ K♦ 6♦ runout. Adiani is covered with a stack of 31,600 and departs from the tournament area.

The new blinds in level eight are 600-1,200 with a big blind ante of 1,200 and the action continues without a break. Another four full levels of 60 minutes each are scheduled for today, after which all survivors will bag and tag their chips.

The late registration remains open until the start of level ten and the tournament is on track to reach last year's figure of 760 entrants.

With the pot at 9100, Joseph Wilson Lane and Vishal Ojha pump in more chips on a board of 6♣ 2♦ 8♣ Q♥ . Lane bets 6000, Ojha raises 16,000, and Lane calls. Both players then check the river A♥ . Lane reveals A♠ Q♣ and Ojha mucks saying he had queen-eight but didn't show.

On a board of 6♠ 5♥ 8♠ Q♦ 8♣ , Javire Zarco calls Alfie Adam's all in and doubles up with 7♣ 8♣ trips against 9♦ 9♠ .

WPT Prime Cambodia 2025 Championship Event finalist Patrik Demus opens the action with a raise and Josip Simunic three-bets to 6,500. Demus four-bets to12,500 and Simunic calls.

On the Q♣ Q♦ 2♥ flop, Demus continues for 3,800 and he calls a raise to 8,500 by Simunic. They check the Q♠ on the turn and Demus then splashes in a large bet on the 9♣ river to cover what Simunic has left. No call follows and the Hungarian chips up without showdown.

Getting to the table with a flop already spread 6♠ T♠ A♣ , I-Chun "Charlie" Chiu bets 55000 into a pot of 19,000 then tanks to Edgar Anezana's 15,000 raise. Chiu eventually folds.

On the tail end of a J♦ 9♣ 7♦ 9♥ 3♣ river, Ahmed Abdellatif fires a large bet of60,000 and Ngoc Anh Cao calls to get shown the T♣ 9♠ for trips nines. Cao mucks and Steven "Cuz" Buckner then congratulates Abdellatif on winning his chips back that he had apparently previously lost.

Peter Kotsiris bets out of the blinds for 20,000 with the turn showing J♦ 9♥ 4♦ 2♥ . Jiaxin Pan jams for 39,300 and Kotsiris sigh-calls with J♠ 7♠ .

That hand has no equity anymore, as Pan's 4♣ 4♥ for a flopped set already has one hundred percent to make the 3♣ river a formality.

South Korea's Junghyun An celebrates winning a big pot and then bumps fists with Stanislav Tishkevich, who has just knocked out. "Good bet, good bet," he says enthusiastically.

On the 9♥ 7♠ 3♥ 8♣ turn, An bet-calls the shove of his table neighbour with K♠ 7♥ and is up against A♣ T♠ for the straight draw and two live cards. The river is the 4♠ and An covers to score the knockout.

On a board showing Q♠ 5♠ T♣ , Iurii Brechalov gets it all in holding J♣ 9♣ and Ricardas Lukauskas snap-calls with K♦ Q♦ . With the turn 4♥ and river J♠ , Brechalov packs up as Lukauskas ships it in.

Nikesh Chawla is all-in for around 30 big blinds with the Q♦ Q♠ and Azizjon Rakhimov looks him up with the A♠ T♥ . The A♥ K♣ 7♣ J♥ 3♣ board improves Rakhimov and he smirks, then says just two words: "Running hot."

Gary Lin bets the Q♠ 5♥ 2♦ 8♥ turn for 15,000 and Ngoc Minh Le gives it some thought before splashing in a lot of T-5,000 chips for a big raise. These chips nearly splash into the main pot and Lin instantly folds.

From the big blind, Mikhail Ostapenko defends by calling The Naing's under the gun raise. The proceed to check the flop 7♥ 6♣ A♠ for a free turn card 5♣ . Ostapenko checks again, Naing bets 3500, Ostapenko responds with a raise of13,000, and Naing flats. When the river comes 5♥ , Ostapenko bets 40,00o, Naing has 42,000 behind and goes all in. Ostapenko makes the call.

Ostapenko has 3♠ 4♦ straight, Naing has better 7♣ 7♠ full house to double up.

Having just lost a showdown against Rob Sherwood, Aussie player Timon Prill goes all in holding 5♦ 5♣ and runs into Jerwin Pasco's Q♠ Q♥ . The board drops blanks to lose the rest of his chips.

During the break, Neng Zhao recalls a hand that he also took a video off during the previous level when he tangles with Yuan Yu. Zhao four-bets to 13,500 and Yu calls to see a flop of K♦ 4♦ 2♦ , on which Zhao continues for 8,000. Yu raises to 20,000 and calls a click back to 32,000.

They get it in after the 4♥ turn on which Zhao shows A♦ A♥ for aces up and the nut flush draw. However, he only has four outs with two aces and two fours, as Yu flips over the 2♠ 2♥ for deuces full. The river is a 9♥ and Zhao is left with a fraction of a big blind.

A scan of the field during the break turned up six players with at least 175K in chips, creating an unofficial leaderboard:

The players return from break to begin Level 7, with increased blinds of 500-1,000 and a 1,000 ante.

The tournament clock shows 314 entries so far on Day 1B, increasing the tournament total to 661. The prizepool has surpassed the $1.5 million guarantee, and it's up to more than $2.11 million. Registration remains open with unlimited re-entries until the start of Level 10, around 9:45 pm.

On a table with a lot of big stacks, Timon Prill bets the K♥ Q♣ 4♥ 6♣ A♣ river for14,000. Rob Sherwood moves all-in for 30,500 and Prill reluctantly calls to get shown J♣ 9♣ for the flush by Sherwood, briefly exposing his own Q♠ 5♠ for a hero-call gone wrong with a pair of queens.

Atsushi Okita is already all-in and awaits his fate when the board shows K♠ T♠ 2♦ 3♦ 3♥ . Dongying Ling bets into Luc Ramos and the latter folds. Okita tables 5♠ 4♠ for a flopped flush draw and turned straight draw, but Ling has the best of it with the K♣ 3♣ for treys full of kings.

Action folds around to the small blind Takayuki Koga and he limps in. Big blind Thi Bao An Nguyen defends with a raise of 3300, Koga re-raises 8500, Nguyen calls.

When the flop comes 3♣ Q♠ Q♥ , more chips go flying. Koga bets 4000, Nguyen raises 9000, Koga makes it 20,000, Nguyen calls.
