One of the most prestigious events of the WPT season, the 10K Single Day Challenge, has officially wrapped up with Australia’s Daniel Neilson emerging as the champion once again. Neilson outlasted a competitive 40-entry field to take home the $127,255 top prize after an intense twelve-hour grind.

This victory not only adds a second WPT title to his illustrious resume but also pushes his career earnings past the $5 million mark. Remarkably, Neilson captured the same title last year during the inaugural WPT Championship, proving that history has a way of repeating itself.

When asked if there was a specific moment when he felt he was destined to win, Neilson replied, "Yes, when I was registered," and indeed, he was right to feel confident.

The final table began with Neilson stacking just behind chip leader Amin Riyazati and straight away, lost his first showdown to drop down the ranks. It was at six-handed when Neilson turned the momentum back around after his royal flush got paid in full by Riyazati. From then on, Neilson stood unstoppable, successfully picking off one short stack after the other.

By the time heads up play was reached, Neilson had an astonishing lead against Yongjia Lin and closed it out in just one deal. Lin was left to settle for a runner up finish while Neilson continues to be the undefeated champion for two years in a row.

Final Table Results

With an astonishing lead, Daniel Neilson wrapped up the final duel in one hand, having raised all-in on the button with 6♠ 4♠ . Yongjia Lin called off for his last 1,110,000 (11 BB) with A♣ 2♣ , and bowed out shortly as board 4♣ 4♦ 2♥ 3♥ 9♥ ran Neilson trip fours for the final victory.

Action is down to heads up play with Daniel Neilson stacking a commanding lead against compatriot Yongjia Lin.

Mario Arrocha finally took a stand and shoved his remaining 900,000 (9 BB) on the small blind. Neilson looked down and quickly made the call with a pocket pair, putting Arrocha at risk.

Board 3♣ T♦ Q♥ 3♠ 8♦ missed to pair up Arrocha's overcards, sending him out two places short of a WPT title.

Daniel Neilson remains to be unchallenged with more blinds and antes swinging his way.

Mario Arrocha defended his big blind against Daniel Neilson's 200,000 button open, and check jammed on flop A♠ 3♠ 5♣ after Neilson sent out a 100,000 cbet. Neilson found no reason to continue and tossed his hand back in the deck.

Daniel Neilson limped in on the small blind and Yongjia Lin checked his option.

Action on board J♥ 7♥ T♦ 3♣ 8♠ was checked all the way down to the river, where Neilson led a bet of 200,000. Lin found the call with top pair J♣ 5♣ and picked up the pot as Neilson revealed bluff 5♥ 2♥ .

The following hand saw Daniel Neilson min open on the button and snap call Amin Riyazati's all-in for 1,820,000 (23 BB) on the small blind.

Window card instantly revealed a set for Neilson, eventually busting Riyazati out of the running as board 9♠ 3♠ 5♠ A♣ 4♦ completed on the felt.

Daniel Neilson opened once more, this time for a bigger 400,000 on the small blind. Amin Riyazati on the big blind, responded with an all-in for 1,360,000 (17 BB) and shipped the boost after Neilson got out of the way.

Final table action has shifted with Daniel Neilson now running table captain. The Australian pro has since picked up several preflop pots, extending his lead a little bit further.

Fabian Gumz called for his last 105,000 (1 BB) following an utg open from Amin Riyazati and saw Daniel Neilson on the big blind raise the stakes to 600,000. Riyazati opted out, leaving the two to showdown,

Gumz hanging by a thread, was officially cut loose as board 9♠ 6♦ 4♦ 5♣ 6♥ failed to save him from his demise.

Down to a chip and a chair, Simas Karaliunas was forced all-in on the small blind when Daniel Neilson shot out a 160,000 open utg. Amin Riyazati called behind and saw action on board J♣ 5♦ 7♣ 5♣ 6♥ check down to the river.

Riyazati fired a final 275,000 bet and pushed Neilson out of the pot. At showdown, Riyazati tabled the nut flush A♣ Q♣ and left Karaliunas' A♠ T♥ entirely in pieces.

Simas Karaliunas defended his big blind against Daniel Neilson's 120,000 early open, and check called another 60,000 on flop A♠ 9♠ 2♥ . Both checked turn Q♦ through to river J♣ , where Karaliunas snap called a final 280,000 bet from Neilson.

Neilson revealed a runner runner straight with K♣ T♥ and left Karaliunas inches from elimination.

Yongjia Lin raised all-in on the small blind for 635,000 (10 BB) and saw Fabian Gumz right behind, rise to the challenge.

Lin at risk, was left with no worries as the flop 2♦ 9♦ 5♦ arrived all diamonds, leaving Gumz drawing dead straight away. Runout 3♣ K♦ came as a formality, with Gumz down to two big blinds just shortly after.

A limp pot blind vs blind between Daniel Neilson and Amin Riyazati dealt a flop of Q♥ T♦ 7♠ . Action checked round to turn T♥ , where Neilson check called a 100,000 bet from his opponent.

Neilson checked river K♥ to Riyazati once more, and faced another 275,000 bet. Neilson shot out a raise to 970,000, leaving himself with 5,000 behind. Riyazati burnt through two time banks and eventually paid the price, only to muck as Neilson flipped over a royal flush A♥ J♥ . Neilson picked up the hefty boost and stepped out into the lead.

With several short stacks on the table, Kyosuke Nagami was the first to fall, having lost a flip against chip leader Amin Riyazati.

Nagami committed his last 475,000 (8 BB) and couldn't escape his fate as Riyazati's pocket pair held through on board 8♠ 3♥ 7♠ T♣ 9♥ , sending him out as the first runner to walk away with a profit.

Simas Karaliunas was in for his last 100,000 on the big blind with J♦ 9♥ and faced Fabian Gumz' Q♣ 6♦ . At the brink of elimination, Karaliunas dodged this one as the board K♠ 4♠ J♥ 3♣ K♦ landed him two pair to survive through.

The next hand saw Karaliunas raise all-in on the small blind for 260,000 (4 BB) and picked up another orbit as Mario Arrocha failed to make the call.

Down to a short stack, Simas Karaliunas raised with half his stack utg and was called by Mario Arrocha right behind.

The two checked down board Q♣ Q♠ 5♦ 8♠ K♠ , where Karaliunas used up one time bank before sending out a 125,000 bet. Arrocha made the call with two pair A♦ K♥ and shipped the win after Karaliunas showed A♣ 4♣ .

Daniel Neilson opened 100,000 utg+1 and put out 375,000 more following an all-in from Fabian Gumz on the small blind.

A coinflip situation, Gumz landed the lead straight away with a set on flop K♠ J♣ T♣ and further improved to a boat on runout T♦ Q♦ to secure the double up.

Following a ten-hour grind, today's 10K Single Day Challenge has narrowed down to its final seven players with Amin Riyazati stacking the lead over the final round. Each contender is now guaranteed in $16,849 winnings with all eyes set on the $127,255 top prize.

Final Table Chip Counts

Fabian Gumz opened 100,000 utg and was followed with an all-in from Joseph Sandaev on the cutoff for 835,000 (17 BB). Amin Riyazati cold called on the button and Gumz stepped away from it all.

Sandaev in trouble, flopped top pair on board Q♥ 4♥ 7♣ 5♥ 3♣ but was entirely not enough to take on Riyazati's cowboys, sending him out as the day's stone cold bubble.

Fabian Gumz opened 175,000 off his 300,000 stack utg+1 and called off following an all-in from Yongjia Lin on the big blind.

At risk of a bubble elimination, Gumz continued ahead as board 9♣ 3♠ 6♦ 7♣ 9♠ kept his ace-king a favorite all the way.

Having just gotten a cbet through Daniel Neilson in the same situation just the hand prior, Amin Riyazati opened again for 100,000 utg. Joseph Sandaev completed his big blind, and folded after Riyazati shot out another 100,000 on flop 9♠ 8♠ 3♣ .

Daniel Neilson opened 100,000 and was met with an all-in from Kyosuke Nagami on the button for 375,000. Neilson unwilling to risk seven big blinds off his stack, slipped the fold and moved on to the next deal.

One more elimination is due before the ITM is reached at seven players. Average stack is listed at 1,000,000 (20 BB), leaving it to be anyone's game at this point.

Jungsup Yun went with Q♠ J♥ for his last 425,000 (8 BB) and was looked up by Mario Arrocha right behind with 8♥ 8♣ .

Yun at risk, instantly flopped the advantage on J♦ 4♠ T♠ , but came crashing down as the runout 9♠ 7♣ landed a runner runner straight for Arrocha.

Yongjia Lin open raised all-in on the hijack and was met with a call from Simas Karaliunas on the small blind for his lesser 370,000 (7 BB).

Up for a flip, board 9♣ T♣ 5♥ 2♠ A♥ ran in favor of Karaliunas' overcards, keeping the count still at nine players.

Joseph Serock went for an 80,000 raise on the hijack and was followed by a 180,000 button three bet from Yongjia Lin behind. Serock clapped back with an all-in and Lin didn't hesitate to step away from the action.

Jungsup Yun flicked in his remaining 165,000 (4 BB) following the loss just a hand before, and faced Yongjia Lin at showdown once more.

This time ahead, Yun recovered some of his chips back as board Q♥ 6♦ 7♦ K♥ 2♦ left his ace-high ahead all the way.

Daniel Neilson opened utg, raised by Yongjia Lin to 210,000. Jungsup Yun on the small blind, padded it further to 600,000 and called for the rest after Lin moved all-in for 155,000 more.

Yun crushed against the best hand in the deck, took the hit as board J♥ J♦ 2♦ 9♥ 5♥ offered him no salvation.

With pressure from the blinds continuing to mount, any takedown at this point bears some value. Daniel Neilson managed to pick up two rounds of big blind and antes, adding 200,000 to his stack straight away.

Fabian Gumz defended his big blind against Amin Riyazati's 80,000 cutoff open, and went on to check raise 105,000 on flop 10s 5♠ 3♣ against Riyazati's single big blind cbet. Riyazati demanded for the rest, forcing Gumz to snap fold.

Only nine players are left in contention for this season's 10K Single Day Challenge title, with two more eliminations left on the table before the money trickles in. Seven players will cut a share of the $374,420 prize pool, reserving the $127,255 top prize for the ultimate winner.

With one more elimination before the field drops down to its final nine, Daniel Neilson raised all-in on the small blind and saw Damir Zhugralin call off for his remaining 350,000 (9 BB).

Slightly behind, Neilson caught up quickly on board K♠ K♣ Q♥ 7♣ Q♠ , booting Zhugralin in the process.

Fabian Gumz opened 80,000 on the cutoff and was met with an all-in from Mario Arrocha on the small blind. Gumz refused to put his tournament life on the line, giving this one to Arrocha.

Action folded to Damir Zhugralin on the small blind, prompting him to raise all-in. Fabian Gumz, for a third time around, found himself at risk for his last 260,000 (9 BB).

This time ahead, Gumz locked in the win on board A♦ 5♦ 9♣ 2♠ J♥ with a better king-high to bounce back in the game.

Fabian Gumz pushed his 120,000 (4 BB) short stack in on the cutoff and was looked up by Daniel Neilson on the big blind.

Gumz dominated, had luck on his side with a seven on board 4♦ 4♣ 6♣ 7♦ 8♥ enough to earn him the pot.

Having lost the hand prior, Fabian Gumz flicked in his last 30,000 on the small blind and was up against Damir Zhugralin once more.

Board 7♣ 2♣ 4♣ 3♥ T♠ this time, came around for Gumz, keeping him in the running.

With a pot of 350,000 nestled around board 3♥ Q♦ 6♦ 4♦ 6♣ , Damir Zhugralin on the small blind, checked to Fabian Gumz right behind. Gumz took the aggressive route and went for an all-in, putting pressure on his opponent.

Zhugralin gave it a thought and eventually called off for his tournament life - 410,000 with two pair Q♠ 8♥ , while Gumz showed bluff J♥ T♦ to shoot down to a single big blind.

Action folded to Aliaksandr Shylko on the small blind, leaving him to jam his 115,000 (4 BB) stack. Amin Riyazati called behind, and easily delivered the knock out with top pair on board K♥ Q♥ 2♦ 3♣ 4♥ .

Kyosuke Nagami kicked off the action with a 50,000 raise utg, called by Fabian Gumz on the big blind.

On flop K♥ Q♦ T♥ , Gumz check called a 30,000 cbet from Nagami and moved on to turn 7♥ . Both checked to river 9♣ , where Gumz led out a bet of 100,000. Nagami snap folded, shipping his opponent the boost.

Mario Arrocha defended his big blind against Simas Karaliunas' 50,000 cutoff open, and read a flop of 6♠ 8♠ 2♦ . Action checked round to turn 8♣ , where Arrocha led for 105,000. Karaliunas called behind, and arrived at showdown shortly after river 8♦ was checked through.

Arrocha showed busted 7♥ 4♥ , no good against Karaliunas' A♦ Q♣ .

Amin Riyazati opened 100,000 utg and flicked in a 5,000 chip following an all-in from Roman Hrabec.

Running a race, neither player connected with board 8♠ A♣ 3♦ A♥ 8♥ , leaving Riyazati's king-high good for the takedown.

On the ropes, Simas Karaliunas flicked in his last 120,000 (4 BB) with 7♠ 7♣ and faced initial raiser's Damir Zhugralin's A♠ J♠ for a flip.

A blind vs blind clash saw Amin Riyazati limp jam on the small blind vs Joseph Sandaev's 70,000 open. Sandaev called off for his remaining 308,000 and found himself at risk once more.

Riyazati instantly paired up his ace on board A♣ K♠ T♥ 5♦ K♦ , sending Sandaev's pocket pair this time, flying towards the muck.

Aliaksandr Shylko opened 40,000 utg+1 and was priced in to call Joseph Sandaev's shove for 98,000 more.

In for a flip, Sandaev secured the much needed double up as board A♣ 5♣ 2♦ K♥ T♣ landed him a pair of aces to take the win.

Lander Bereciartua stuffed his last 90,000 (6 BB) against an open and saw Aliaksandr Shylko push likewise. Initial raiser opted out, leaving the two to showdown.

A classic coinflip, the pocket pair won it this time on board 6♣ 5♦ 5♠ 2♣ 2♦ , earning Shylko the pot while Bereciartua exited the arena.

Daniel Neilson raised all-in for 354,000 (22 BB) against a late position open and saw initial raiser Kyosuke Nagami take the spot.

Nagami dominated, forked over nearly half his stack, having failed to improve on board 9♥ 8♥ 4♣ 3♦ 2♥ .

Jungsup Yun opened on the cutoff and went on to call off for his entire 324,000 (20 BB) after Yongjia Lin on the small blind moved all-in.

Board 9♥ 6♥ 3♠ 2♦ 4♠ ran dry for both, leaving Yun's ace-high good for the takedown.

Action is down to the final two tables midway through Level 13 with both Yongjia Lin and Mario Arrocha stacking atop the charts. Still a long way to go with only seven players deemed to cut a payday.

Qiu in search of an ace, was instead left instantly crushed as Gumz ran a set on board 9♦ K♠ Q♣ 3♥ 8♣ to knock him out.

Benny Glaser pushed on the button for his last 102,000 (6 BB) and was called by Joseph Serock on the big blind.

In for a race, Glaser managed to keep ahead on board K♣ T♥ 3♠ T♦ , up until the river landed Serock a straight to turn the tables.

Yongjia Lin opened on the cutoff and called an 88,000 three bet from Najeem Ajez a seat after.

On flop 3♣ 8♣ 3♠ , Lin pulled a check jam after Ajez continued for 75,000. Ajez burnt one time bank, and eventually called off for his remaining 225,000 for a showdown.

Kyosuke Nagami opened 26,000 on the button and saw Thomas Boivin on the big blind complete.

On board A♣ J♦ T♥ 9♣ A♠ , Nagami bet three streets - 40,000, 40,000, and a final all-in for Boivin's last 55,000, with the Belgian pro check calling all the way to showdown.

Nagami showed boat T♦ T♣ , crushing Boivin's turned straight Q♦ 8♠ by the river.

Amin Riyazati defended his big blind vs Simas Karaliunas' 26,000 cutoff open, and check called another 20,000 on flop A♥ 8♠ Q♣ . Action on turn J♦ and river 9♦ were checked down by both, revealing Riyazati's rivered two pair 9♥ 8♥ for the win.

Thomas Eychenne opened 24,000 on the hijack, followed by a three bet to 46,000 from Fabian Gumz right behind. Joseph Serock on the button, made it 105,000 to go, enough to push Eychenne out of the pot. Gumz on the other hand, answered with an all-in for 361,000 total, and left Serock nowhere to go but out.

Registration for today's 10K Single Day Challenge is officially closed with a total of 40 entries locked in, putting up a prize pool of $374,420 on the table. Seven players are set to walk away with a share, with the ultimately champion geared to bank the sole six-figure payout on the list of $127,255.

With a pot of 75,000 situated in the middle across board T♥ 8♣ 7♦ J♠ , action was caught on Mario Arrocha leading out utg for 45,000. Ajez called behind to see river 9♠ . Arrocha gave it a thought and eventually fired a bet of 150,000.

Ajez called with a higher straight Q♦ 8♦ and shipped the overall lead as Arrocha played the board with K♣ 9♣ .

Another blind vs blind confrontation built a pot of 90,000 on board T♦ 5♣ 2♣ 5♥ . Lander Bereciartua made an attempt for it with a bet of 36,000 on the big blind. Simas Karaliunas check raised to 78,000, called by his opponent onto river 6♥ .

Betting came to a halt, tabling Karaliunas' trip fives 7♦ 5♦ for the win.

Roman Hrabec opened on the cutoff and called a 63,000 three bet from Damir Zhugralin on the big blind.

Zhugralin went for the triple barrel - 38,500, 90,000 and a final all-in for 237,500, on board A♣ 7♥ 2♦ 6♦ 5♥ . Hrabec called the initial two, and was one more call away from showdown.

Hrabec burnt three time banks, and eventually found a fold, shooting him back down to a 20 BB stack while Zhugralin bagged the boost.

A blind vs blind battle saw Kyosuke Nagami limp call a 33,000 raise from Roman Hrabec.

On board Q♥ T♥ 3♦ 9♣ , Hrabec double barreled - 24,000 and 82,000, leaving Nagami nowhere to go but out by the turn.

Thomas Boivin opened 14,000 utg, followed by a three bet to 45,000 from Jungsup Yun on the small blind. Roman Hrabec on the big blind, pushed 143,000 (20 BB) and Yun took the spot for half his stack.

A coinflip, board K♠ J♥ 7♥ 4♦ 2♥ immediately landed in favor of the overcards, earning Hrabec the full double up.

Renat Bohdanov stuffed his last 75,000 (11 BB) on the button and was snap called by initial raiser Benny Glaser with a premium pair.

Bohdanov in rough shape, crashed out shortly after A♦ 5♠ 2♠ 9♣ 4♦ turned up on the felt.

Facing a late position open and a button call from Najeem Ajez, Zapatero Gomez squeezed all-in on the small blind for 144,500 (20 BB), and saw Ajez rise to the challenge.

In for a race, Ajez was left in no sweat, having ran a full house on board A♥ 9♦ 4♠ J♣ J♦ to deliver the bust.

Manuel Carvalho opened 16,000 on the button and saw both players on the blinds complete.

On board T♣ 7♣ 6♦ Q♦ , Carvalho barreled - 18,000 and 62,000, with Quan Qiu check calling both streets on the small blind. Carvalho unfazed, shot out 175,000 on river 5♥ and convinced Qiu to finally give up the fight.

A three way raised pot led by Mario Arrocha on the hijack rolled a flop of K♥ 4♥ 6♠ . Action checked round to turn 8♥ , where Yongjia Lin decided to go for a bet of 18,000. Both found no reason to continue and slipped the fold.

Renat Bohdanov risked his last 43,500 (7 BB) with A♦ J♣ and faced Zapatero Gomez' 5♦ 5♠ for a flip.

Bohdanov instantly flopped the advantage on J♦ T♣ 9♣ , further improving to trip jacks on runout J♠ 4♠ for the double up.

Trong Hieu Ngo open shoved his last 83,000 (14 BB) on the cutoff and was looked up by Joseph Serock on the small blind.

Ngo at risk for a third time around, bound for the exit after his suited connectors missed to improve on board 4♦ K♣ K♠ J♥ 9♥ .

Valeriano Toledano stuffed his last 103,000 (17 BB) against Trong Hieu Ngo's button open, and saw Joseph Sandaev on the big blind push likewise. Ngo opted out, leaving the two to showdown.

Toledano at risk, was instantly crushed as board K♣ T♦ A♥ K♦ 7♣ ran a slam dunk win for Sandaev.

SHR Warm Up champion Valeriano Toledano bumped up the action to 12,000 utg, and was joined by both players on the blinds onto flop J♦ 4♦ 4♠ . Hugo Machado led all-in for his last 11,000, called by Toledano with T♥ 9♥ .

Machado behind with 6♥ 3♠ , turned the advantage on turn 6♦ , but saw river T♣ flip it back to Toledano, for his elimination.

Three players were vying for a pot of 64,000 in the middle on board 8♠ A♠ 4♥ T♠ . Action was checked to Quan Qiu on the button, prompting him to fork out a bet of 28,000. Zapatero check called from utg, yet laid it down as Qiu went for a final 103,000 on river 8♣ .
