A short-stacked Sertac Turker is all-in holding the J♣ T♦ and Siarhei Chudapal looks him up with the A♠ Q♦ . The A♥ Q♥ T♣ 6♥ 5♠ board sends the 2013 WPT National Cyprus winner to the rail in the late stages of Day 1a.

Sertac Turker raises to 8,000 and Siarhei Chudapal calls on the button. Joshua McSwiney then jams for 143,000 and Turker goes all-in over the top to force out Chudapal.

McSwiney is at risk with the J♦ T♦ and has a mountain to climb versus K♥ K♣ .

On the K♦ T♥ 9♦ flop, McSwiney says "okay, more of this," as he picks up a gutshot and flush draw. The J♣ turn is a blank but the A♦ river comes to the rescue.

One hand later, Turker gets the last 19,000 in with K♦ 9♦ and big stack Kimsour Kong calls from the big blind with 4♥ 3♥ . There is no upset this time on the A♠ 8♦ 5♣ T♣ runout.

A scan of the field during the break turned up seven players with at least 190K in chips, plus three more knocking on the door to create an unofficial leaderboard:

"This table always has action," Sertac Turker jokes not long ago. He is then involved in said action when he takes on He Zhou and bets the K♠ 7♣ 3♠ 2♥ turn on the button for 11,000 into 25,700. Zhou check-raises to 32,000 in the big blind and Turker folds to preserve the slightly bigger stack.

Sertac Turker is the last player to call all-in and happily does so for the last 39,300 after Tien Dung Pham raises for all of his big chips. Yu Lin calls all-in and so does Turker.

There is a three-way all-in situation at Table 22, with Tien Dung Pham all in from the cutoff for 17,300, Sertac Turker all in from middle position for 40,000, and Ankit Wadhawan covers them both with roughly 45K in middle position.
