With a total of 42 entries and a combined prize pool of $ 191,478, only 6 players emerged from the field walking away with a share of that prize money. We saw some familiar faces in the field with famous Filipino players like Mike Takayama and David Erquiaga, Poker Dream emcee Grant Gardner, and Chinese players Quan Qiu and Bao Ge.

After almost 15 hours of play, the field bubbled when winner Jhon Hendri shoved with A♥ T♠ off into short stack Chen Shen with pocket nines 9♣ 9♦ . With the ace dropping on the turn 4♦ 6♥ Q♣ A♣ 6♠ Hendri made Chen the bubble boy and the 6 itm players were given the night to recuperate until the next day with each being guaranteed a minimum of $13,478.

It's not often you see a champion win with back to back knock outs but that's exactly what Jhon Hendri showed us!

Already commanding 60% of the chips in play, Hendri won a pot off Wijk and later busted him out with A♥ K♦ against K♣ Q♥ on a low board of 3♣ 7♦ 6♦ 9♥ 6♠ before eliminating Hinds in the very next hand with his J♠ J♥ against A♦ 5♥ on 9♦ Q♥ T♣ 3♠ 8♠ .

It was indeed a swift victory in the top 3 for Hendri with such a commanding chip lead and fast play.

Hinds shoves the button heads up with Hendri who calls with J♠ J♥ . Hinds is holding A♦ 5♥ and needs an ace to survive but the board doesn't improve coming 9♦ Q♥ T♣ 3♠ 8♠ sending Hinds home in second place for $45,000.

Flop is 8♠ 3♣ 6♦ and Jang shoves for last 8,000. Hoang calls showing A♠ Q♠ and Jang rolls over T♠ T♣ . The turn is K♣ and river drops the A♣ giving Hoang the come from behind win to eliminate Jang.

Actions folds to button Yunsheng Sun who opens to 16,000. Only big blind Quan Qiu calls. Flop comes a coordinated 6♥ 7♥ 8♠ and Quan check calls Sun's c-bet of 20,000.
