AK James Has Heen Eliminated In 5th Place

Level 20: 30,000 / 60,000 ante: 60,000

AK James’ run came to an end at the final table after he moved all-in from the button for 330,000, holding K J . Unfortunately for him, Kei woke up with a monster in the small blind K K and quickly made the call.

The board ran dry for James, offering no help, and the dominant pocket kings held strong. With that, AK James was eliminated, falling just short of a deeper run.

Shikkususensu Has Heen Eliminated In 6th Place

Level 20: 30,000 / 60,000 ante: 60,000

After previously losing a crucial all-in, Shikkususensu was left short and soon found himself all-in preflop for 145,000. Both Kei and Yoon made the call, setting up a three-way pot with Shikkususensu at risk.

The action was checked all the way to the river, and at showdown, Kei’s ace-high was enough to take the pot, eliminating Shikkususensu from the tournament.

A valiant run comes to an end, as Shikkususensu exits the final table following another deep performance at USOP Osaka.

Saved by the Stream: AK James Gets His Chips

Level 19: 20,000 / 40,000 ante: 40,000

In a wild turn of events, AK James shoved his remaining 115,000 chips holding K 3, and was called by Shikkususensu, who moved all-in for 280,000 with A 3 . The board ran out K 4 Q A 2 , giving James a runner-runner nut flush.

However, in the fast-paced moment, both players and the dealer missed the flush, and the pot was incorrectly awarded to Shikkususensu.

Thankfully, sharp-eyed commentators Ron and Noel immediately spotted the error on the broadcast. They quickly alerted the tournament staff, and the floor paused the next hand to review the footage. After verifying the cards and the board, the floor ruled correctly, the pot was awarded to AK James, who now sits at 330,000 in chips.

Well done by the USOP team for acting swiftly and upholding the integrity of the game, a clear reminder of the importance of having sharp commentary and vigilant tournament staff in live poker.

Level 19: 20,000 / 40,000 ante: 40,000

Action folded to Kei, who picked up a premium hand Q Q and made a standard raise. In the big blind, Shikkususensu had no choice but to go all-in with his last few chips, holding just 6 5 .

It looked like an easy knockout for Kei, but the poker gods had other plans. The flop came down and delivered a miracle for Shikkususensu, a nut straight. Stunned but smiling, he watched the turn and river fall clean, securing a dramatic double-up and keeping his tournament hopes alive.

Rouletter Has Heen Eliminated In 7th Place

Level 19: 20,000 / 40,000 ante: 40,000

Another player hits the rail as the final table continues to shrink. The action began when Kei opened to 80,000, and Rouletter, already short-stacked, was all-in for just 60,000. With Rouletter dominated, there wasn’t much drama left in the hand.

The board ran clean for Kei, and Rouletter was eliminated, bringing the field one player closer to the title. Kei adds a few more chips to his stack with a straightforward knockout.

Akimaru Has Heen Eliminated In 8th Place

Level 18: 15,000 / 30,000 ante: 30,000

On the very next hand, the action didn’t slow down. Akimaru moved all-in from under the gun for 305,000, and when it folded to Arm in the big blind, he looked down at another monster hand and made the quick call.

The flop brought some hope for Akimaru, as the board gave him trips, suddenly turning the tables. But that hope was short-lived, the turn completed a full house for Arm, leaving Akimaru drawing thin. The river changed nothing, and with that, Akimaru was eliminated.

Arm With Back-To-Back Aces

Level 18: 15,000 / 30,000 ante: 30,000

Arm picked up pocket aces back-to-back, and this time, he got paid. After shoving the first time and getting no callers, Arm changed gears and played it slow. Holding A A , he opened from under the gun to 60,000. Niu Yuxin defended his big blind with Q♠ J , and they went to the flop.

Both players checked the flop Q 9 6 , keeping the pot small. On the turn K , Niu took the lead with a bet of 40,000, and Arm just called, continuing to disguise his strength. The river K brought more action, Niu shoved, putting Arm to the test, but Arm snap-called all-in for 90,000.

His trap worked perfectly. The aces held, and Arm secured a full double-up, climbing back into contention.

Li Zixuan Has Heen Eliminated In 9th Place

Level 18: 15,000 / 30,000 ante: 30,000

Action kicked off immediately at the final table, and unfortunately for Li Zixuan, the shortest stack, the timing couldn’t have been worse. Sitting in the big blind with just 1 BB, she was forced all-in after Akimaru open-shoved. With no choice but to commit her last chips, Li was at risk and needed help from the board.

But the runout brought no miracles, and Li Zixuan became the first casualty of the final table, exiting in 9th place. A tough break, especially being blinded in on the very first hand.
