Hand #1: Manlok Chan picked up the first pot of the day that opened with a raise from Lin Yun Tse of 250,000, from the button Chan called and called again at a flop Q♣ 8♣ 4♦ for 200,000. On the turn 9♦ and river J♦ , Lin checks both, Chan bets 450,000 and 850,000, Lin fold to the river bet.

And just like that Chan has taken the lead.

Justin Chu open shoves his last 7 bb and sweats it when two players call. The board A♥ T♦ 5♣ J♣ 2♥ is checked down.

After heavy preflop action that opened with Yun Tse Lin min-raising, called by chip leader Chiehchi Liu, re-popped by Cheng to 1,000,000, four-bet to 1,800,000 by Lin, called by Cheng after Liu folded, Lin and Cheng checked the flop K♣ 7♣ 4♥ .

On the turn 9♣ ,Cheng shoved 2,050,000, Lin let go reluctantly.

The day's entering chip leader is leader no more after losing another pot early in the opening round. Next to shave a portion is Tanaka Masatoshi who defended the big blind on Lin's 22,000 raise.

Tanaka proceeds to check-call a 25,000 bet on the flop 9♥ 4♠ 5♥ then switches up and leads out the turn J♦ for 35,000. Lin raises 125,000, Tanaka isn't going anywhere and calls. The river 6♣ is checked down.

Guo Zhan Xi raises 20,000, finds one caller, then entering chip leader Lin Yun Tse fires 100,000 from cutoff. Guo is unfazed and four-bets 190,000, caller bows out while Lin calls to end the round.

More chips go flying at the flop A♥ 2♥ 4♠ with Guo sending out 70,000, Lin snap-calls for a turn card 7♥ . Guo slows down and checks, Lin jumps out with a 105,000 bet, Guo matches aggression with a shove of 283,000, Lin tanks then finally surrenders his hand.

With the fall of Kazuhiko Yotsushika on the bubble, TMTC Main Event Day 1C wrapped up with 44 remaining players. At the top of the counts was bubble executioner Lin Yun Tse who also knocked out Yun Li on a cooler to amass a stack of 1,264,000 (126 bb) by the close of day. Lin will enter Day 2 as the overall chip leader out of the 143 total survivors.

From lojack, Ka Shun Tsang opens 4000, gets called by hijack Seung Jin Han, then button Lin Yun Tse three-bets to 17,000 to force a fold from Tsang while Seung wants to play post flop.

Dealer felts the flop T♥ 8♠ 8♣ , Lin quickly bets 11,500, Seung check-calls, and the turn drops 4♥ . Lin continues the momentum and sends out 15,500, this time Seung switches up and check-raises all in, Lin can afford it and calls.
