David PetersIn the field today is David Peters, one of the world's most accomplished high-stakes tournament players. The American has amassed just shy of $50 million in live tournament earnings according to The Hendon Mob, placing him inside the top 15 on poker’s all-time money list. Peters also owns four WSOP bracelets and has recorded 12 seven-figure scores across his career.
A familiar face in some of the biggest tournaments in the world, Peters has enjoyed success on both the live and online felt for more than a decade. His largest recorded live score came back in 2016, when he finished third in the Super High Roller Bowl for over $2.6 million.
Peters starts the high roller Main Event fresh from taking down TLPT High Roller Bounty just yesterday. He earned $23,000 for the win and added another $12,500 in bounty prizes after knocking out five opponents from the 20-entry field. He will now be looking to carry that form into today’s event and put together another deep run.
