At the start of the penultimate day of the KRW 4,000,000 RDPT PLUS Championship, 26 survivors returned to LES A Casino, all with one goal in mind: to etch their names in RDPT history as well as a bigger prize.

With an impressive turnout of 931 entries, the tournament smashed its guarantee, generating a prize pool of KRW 3,217,536,000 (~USD 2,193,111), including the mouth-watering top prize of KRW 546,386,000 (~USD 372,423). Adding even more excitement, the eventual winner not only scores life-changing payouts but also a whole set of RDPT signature awards.

Outmaneuvering 90-minute levels with wits, guts, and grit, the field has been whittled down to the final nine, who now prepare for another action-packed day on Tuesday. April 21. Each of them is guaranteed a minimum payout of KRW 40,200,000 (~$27,065).

Leading the final table is China’s Yunchao Yu, with a dominant stack of 26,800,000, who came into the day as one of the middle stacks and steadily clawed his way to the top of the leaderboard. He enjoyed a mid-day surge right after the first 15-minute break by stacking Vietnam’s Quang Minh Nguyen. From that moment on, his momentum continued until the end of the day, leaving him firmly atop the leaderboard heading into the final table.

Chasing in second place is Japan’s Naohiro Matsuda with 17,400,000 chips. Rounding out the top three is Belarus’ Ivan Karatayeu with 6,975,000 chips

Day 4 Action

Carrying the third-largest stack into Day 4, Nguyen's championship run still came to an end early today in 22nd place. In a classic pocket-pair collision, Nguyen three-bet jammed his stack from the cutoff with pocket sixes only to be snap-called by the chip leader Yu, who held a dominating pocket sevens. Nguyen’s pocket sixes were unable to find any traction on the runout, which sealed his fate. The pot was shipped to Yu, officially ending the Vietnamese player's tournament run.

In a rare and spectacular showdown, Wei Sun sent shockwaves around the table by tabling a Royal Flush against Lei Yu. After calling Yu’s open from under the gun, Sun stuck around in the cutoff through Yu's continuation bet on the flop. Yu check-called on the turn, and the river prompted Sun to fire a final chunky barrel. After a long tank, Yu made the call only to see Sun reveal the unbeatable Royal Flush, forcing Yu to muck as the table erupted in disbelief.

The day's frontrunner, Aaron Lim, eventually left the field in 21st place. In a three-way pot, Lim committed his final chips from the cutoff against Ivan Karatayeu’s early position open, with Yunchao Yu also defending from the big blind. Yu check-called a bet on the flop, but his leading bet on the turn successfully forced Karatayeu to fold. Yu revealed flopped trip fours, leaving Lim’s king-high drawing dead. The river was a mere formality, officially sending Lim to the rail and shipping the pot to Yu.

The next victim to fall into Yu's hands is China's Qizhi Guo. In a decisive blind-versus-hijack battle, Guo opened the hijack only to be met with a massive shove from Yu in the small blind. Guo called off his remaining chips with king-jack but found himself trailing Yu's ace-deuce. The flop paired both players, but Yu remained in the lead with top pair. The turn and the river provided no help for Guo, who was sent to the rail in 16th place for a payout of KRW 20,600,000 (~USD 13,870).

After Guo's exit, Yu continued adding more ammunition to his arsenal by taking down Lei Yu. In a battle of the blinds, Lei Yu limped from the small blind and called off his remaining chips after check-raising the flop, only to be met with a massive shove from Yunchao Yu. Lei Yu’s top pair with ace-jack was in dire straits against Yunchao’s flopped two pair with jack-four. The runout offered no salvation, confirming Lei Yu’s exit in 14th place for a payout of KRW 25,250,000 (~$17,000) and further cementing Yunchao Yu’s dominant stack.

Yiming Li was the next to fell into Yu's burning momentum. Li three-bet shoved his remaining chips from the small blind with ace-king, only to be called by Yu, who held pocket jacks. Li's Big Slick failed to find any help on the board, handing the pot to Yu and sending Li to the rail to collect KRW 25,250,000 (~$17,000) for his deep run.

While the field was down to 12 players, Yu kept his sun run and staked three more players late into the night to cap off his night in style. Qidong He called off his stack with pocket eights, running headfirst into Yu's tens. The board ran out clean, sending He to the rail and further building Yu's stack.

Just a few hands after, Xu Wang saw his run end in the hands of Yu. Wang's king-queen collided with Yu's pocket eights. The flop gave Wang top pair; however, it gave Yu a set. With runout offering no help, Wang hit the rail in 11th place.

The last one to leave the field of the day is Yongbin Wang, whose ten-seven improved to a pair on the flop, but it was still no match for Yu's flopped two pair with queen-seven. Just like that, Wang was sent to the cash desk for his prize of KRW 31,550,000 (~$21,240).

The final day of the RDPT Plus Championship kicks off at 12 PM local time, and the blinds will resume at Level 28 (100,000/200,000 with a 200,000 big blind ante). At the Final table, 36 hands per level will be played.

Everyone has already secured a payout of KRW 40,200,000 (~$27065) for their efforts, but all eyes are now on the top prize. The goal for the day is to play down to the eventual winner.

Day 4 of the KRW 4,000,000 Red Dragon Plus Championship at RDPT PLUS 2026 gets underway today at LES A Casino. With just 26 contenders still in the field, it promises to be a day of bluffs, blinds, and busted hands!

With the top prize of KRW 546,386,000 (~USD 372,423), the iconic Red Dragon trophy, and the full set of RDPT signature awards up for grabs, a place in RDPT history is also on the line, and the action is set to reach its peak.
