Day 1B of the ₩1,500,000 (~US$ 1,035) buy-in opening event concludes with 21 out of the 144 total entries bagging chips for Day 2 tomorrow at 12:00 local.

Xueqi Feng eclipsed yesterday's chip leader by a few thousand, taking 607,000 to Day 2. The Chinese national catapulted into the lead on level 12, calling a triple barrel bluff with top pair and stayed in the top two for the rest of the day, trading the lead several times with the second place finisher Lei Li. His mega stack got two last minute additions from eliminating Wan Tianhao for 13BBs and bursting the 2nd bubble Wenjie Sun for another 17BBs on the buzzer.

Yesterday's bubble boy Lei Li bagged the 2nd biggest stack with 510,000. He was among the top stacks early on again and traded the lead with Feng towards the end a few times. He knocked out Jinhan Yang and Zhu Wu in the same hand with jacks against sevens and ace-queen and got a last minute push by eliminating two-time bracelet holder Xixiang Luo in level 16 with nines against deuces for a 27BB juicer.

RDPT 2025 Baby Dragon Day 1B Will Start At 12:00 Local

The second out of three entry flights of the featured Baby Dragon KR₩1,500,000 (~US$ 1,035) buy-in tournament will be the headline event today with full coverage starting at noon and then switching to Flight C until we have the complete ITM line-up selected for Day 2.

At Flight A, a field of 117 registered with 18 players advancing. China's Hui Tang set the bar high for the next flight's with a stack of 587,000 (73 bb).

To give players an idea of this event's attraction, last year a storm of 620 entries was seen for a prize pool of KR₩ 670 Million, roughly US$ 484K. You can bet that number will be scorched.

Entering players start with 30,000 in chips which is 150 times the opening blinds and will see blinds increase at a gradual 30 minute pace while Day 1C Turbo at 18:00 later tonight runs a faster 20 minute blinds. Registration closes at the end of Level 10.
