The Red Dragon Championship final flight, Day 1D drew to a close following fourteen levels of 30 minute blinds, with another 31 players out of its 140-entry field advancing onto Day 2. China's Dong Li stacked the largest by bagging time, having soared to the lead just as the day closed. Li busted Jie Wu right at the last level and extended his lead over the last five deals to end with a towering chip count of 630,000.
