Okada Millions (8,000 PHP)

Flight E of Okada Millions drew the largest crowd yet of 310 entries with many of the past fallouts returning further boosted by an international contingent of Japanese, Koreans, and Europeans. Just under eight hours of play, Terry Gonzaga delivered the bubble, knocking out Chinese player Shi Shanbang and leaving the final 37 players to bag up. Gonzaga earned the sixth largest stack of the flight, and though commendable, it was a far distance from the leader Anacleto Quijano.

Quijano went on a tear during the seventh hour, railing multiple players and raking in pots in succession. One of his last pots was calling out Jasper David's bluff with three overcards to his small pocket pair. He bagged up a monstrous 853,000 stack to be the only player so far to overtake Flight A leader Christian Lortie Cloutier in the cumulative Day 2 counts.

Also making it through were Acharya Anant and Gary Guerrero, both players joining Ajay Abrol in bagging up multiple stacks.

The survivors have an overnight's rest and will return at 12pm tomorrow for the final race to the title. The prize pool is currently past PHP 10M setting a new record for this event. With registration still open for the final Flight G, we will have the official attendance and prize pool once they have been announced.

The cumulative entries at the end of this flight was 1168 with 139 players into the ITM round.

Anyone that has gone up against the leader Anacleto Quijano has been denied and Jasper David was next. Quijano raised 13,000 from early position and David called from cutoff. They proceeded to check it to the turn 3♦ J♠ K♠ K♥ where Quijano bet 18,000 that David called. On the river 7♣ , Quijano's 26,000 was met with a raise of 80,000, Quijano assessed the board then called.

David was bluffing with Q♦ 9♦ , Quijano collected with 5♥ 5♠ .

Anacleto Quijano's bid for the biggest overall stack is headed in that direction having scored back to back pots to surpass the bar set by Flight A leader. On his second pick up he calls a raise of 12,000 at cutoff and big blind defends for a three way to the flop 3♦ 8♠ 5♦ .

Preflop raiser Charlie Bautista continues for 15,000, only Quijano calls to see the turn J♣ . Bautista barrels 50,000 and still Quijano is unfazed and calls. On the river A♦ , Bautista checks, Quijano bets 110,000 which well covers Bautista's 75,000 stack. Bautista risks and shows 5♠ 5♥ . Quijano isn't bluffing and shows Q♦ J♦ second pair to ship the huge pile of chips.

Another player goes down at the hands of Anacleto Quijano. The casualty is Eldee Lim who opens 10,000 from cutoff and Quijano defends on the big blind. At the flop A♣ 8♥ 3♦ , Quijano check-calls another 10,000, then on the turn 6♠ , Quijano switches up and check-raises from 30,000 to pushing Lim.

With only 86,000 in total, Lim makes the call and shows 5♣ 5♠ set which is still behind Quijano's 7♣ 9♣ straight. The river J♣ doesn't pair improve Lim to lose all of his chips.

Charlie Bautista starts off the hand with a min-raise that finds a caller in hijack Lito Quijano. Two spots over Elco Kuiper on the small blind three-bets 16,000 and it's cheap enough for the two to call.

When the flop comes 8♠ 9♣ T♣ , Kuiper continues for 25,000, Bautista folds, and Quijano pays to see the turn 4♠ . Again Kuiper bets 25,000 and Quijano calls to complete the board 5♦ . Wasting no time counting, Kuiper shoves 106,000 and still doesn't push out Quijano.

Kuiper flips over A♣ K♠ air and busts to Quijano's Q♥ T♠ top pair.

With the turn Q♣ and river T♣ , Lee misses his outs to improve to run out of chips.
