In a preflop confrontation Ryan Tan was all in for 19,000 from the cutoff and up against Richard Marquez who had 41,000 from under the gun and Joemark Vasay who covered both players from early position.

Tan had the best hand with top pair to triple up while Vasay took the side pot with his pair of sixes and Marquez was sent to the rail.

Ryan Tan opened to 4,000 from the button and received calls from a player in the small blind and Akihiro Yamada in the big blind.

The flop came 2♣ 9♥ J♠ and action checked around to Tan who bet 4,000. The small blind folded, Yamada shoved for 10,000 and Tan called with a covering stack to put him at risk.

Neither player had a made hand or a draw. Tan was ahead with ace-high but Yamada made a running straight when the board ran out T♠ 8♦ to score the unlikely double up.

Jester Initia opened to 800 from early position, Ryan Tan three-bet to 2,800 from the cutoff and Initia called.

The flop came 9♠ 3♥ K♠ . Initia checked, Tan bet 2,500, Initia raised to 6,500 and Tan folded Q♠ Q♥ face up.

Initia showed that he had A♠ K♥ for top pair, top kicker before taking the pot.
