Takuma Sasaki on the button, gave it a thought and decided to go for a raise to 29,000. Nass tanked for a minute and eventually slipped his hand back to the dealer, earning Sasakit the pot with no showdown.

Up against an open and two calls, Darius Nass squeezed to 4,500 on the small blind and put out another 4,500 after initial raiser Chirag Shah came back with a raise.

Winifred Obedoza opened 400 utg, joined by both players on the blinds onto flop Q♥ 5♦ 5♥ . Checked to Obedoza, he fired a bet of 500, to which only Darius Nass responded with a call. Both checked turn 4♠ through to river 9♦ , where Nass led for a final 1,600. Obedoza found no reason to continue, shipping Nass the much needed boost.
