The final nine for the Manila Megastack 18 Main Event is set with Norway’s Henrik Tollefsen in the forefront, stacking a 9,595,000 (95 BB) chip count. Tollefsen rose to the top ranks after delivering three straight eliminations on the last hour of the day. Final table plays down to a champion tomorrow, listing a whopping PHP 6,290,000 top prize, inclusive of the PHP 120,000 APPT Main Event package. Each returning player is now guaranteed a minimum payout of Php 569,345.

Utg Chang Jae Yi raised all-in and saw big blind Paulsen Kai call off his last 1,000,000 with A♣ A♦ . Chang is behind with 9♥ 9♣ but quickly turned the tables after his two outer showed up on 9♠ K♦ 6♦ J♥ 4♦ to send Paulsen out.

Cutoff Kim Michael Enriquez opened to 200,000 and called a three bet for 300,000 more from button John Paul Flores. Both players checked flop K♠ 3♠ K♣ through, revealing turn 7♦ . Flores sends out a 200,000 bet, check called by Enriquez. River A♥ this time, saw Enriquez lead for 200,000 and call 300,000 more after Flores raised. Flores shows A♣ A♦ for a full house, crushing Enriquez’ A♥ 6♠ .

Utg Sawma Gaby shoved in his last 630,000 with 9♦ 9♣ and was called by button Alvin Jeff Sembrano with A♥ 9♥ . At risk, Sawma was able to dodge the ace, but not the board 5♣ 4♥ 5♥ 2♠ 7♥ running three hearts for Sembrano’s flush.

Utg Chen Jingliang open shoved 880,000 with 6♥ 6♠ and was called by Jeremy Catalig with Q♦ K♠ . Running a flip, Chen was happy to find none of his opponent’s overcards on 3♥ 7♦ A♥ J♥ 9♥ .

Alvin Jeff Sembrano defended his big blind against utg+1 Jeremy Catalig‘s open and flopped 8♥ 8♦ A♠ . Catalig continued for 175,000, check raised by Sembrano to 400,000. Catalig answered with a click back, leaving Sembrano to put in his 405,000 behind.

With only a runner runner to save him, Catalig forked over the win with Sembrano packing in a full house after the turn came A♦ .

Button Kim Michael Enriquez limped in, followed by an all-in from small blind John Paul Flores for 1,145,000. Enriquez makes the call with A♥ Q♦ and is in for a flip against Flores’ T♦ T♠ . At risk, Flores survives after a nine high board 2♣ 9♣ 6♣ 9♥ 7♠ rolled up on the felt.

Folded to small blind Choi Jaeki, he shoved his remaining 760,000 in with J♥ 2♣ right into chip leader Henrik Tollefsen’s A♠ 7♣ . Ahead of his opponent, Tollefsen delivered another bust after the board K♥ K♠ 7♦ 9♦ 5♣ left Choi with jack high.

Utg+1 Nakanishi Hirotaka opened to 160,000 and raised all-in for 1,700,000 against button Henrik Tollefsen’s three bet. A quick call from Tollefsen with K♠ K♥ saw Nakanishi’s A♠ Q♥ headed for the muck shortly after the board K♦ A♣ 4♣ 8♥ 8♣ turned up on the felt.

Small blind Henrik Tollefsen limped in and saw big blind Chengyu Liao move all-in for 1,000,000 with K♥ 9♦ . Tollefsen made the call with A♦ T♦ and went on to deliver the bust with ace high after the board 4♠ 2♣ 7♣ 8♥ 6♦ missed to pair either player.

Utg Landry Craig went with 6♦ 6♥ for his remaining 960,000 and faced Paulsen Kai’s A♣ K♥ . Up for a flip, the board J♠ 7♥ Q♦ 3♣ 7♣ ran in favor of Landry, leaving his pocket sixes good for the takedown.

Cutoff Chang Jae Yi open shoved his last 940,000 with 6♥ 6♣ and ran right into big blind John Paul Flores’ K♠ K♣ . Drawing to two outs, Chang was in luck after the board K♥ 5♦ 9♥ 7♠ 8♠ rolled a straight to spare him from elimination.

Cutoff Nakanishi Hirotaka opened to 160,000 and was met with a three bet to 450,000 from Alvin Jeff Sembrano. Nakanishi re-raised all-in for 1,345,000 total, urging Sembrano to put in the fold.

Small blind Chang Jae Yi opened to 190,000 and called a three bet to 420,000 from big blind Jeremy Catalig. On flop 4♠ K♠ 7♥ , Catalig continued for 300,000, Chang with a check fold.

Utg Choi Jaeki shoved his remaining 455,000 and was called by big blind Jeremy Catalig with 7♠ 7♦ . Choi is behind with A♦ 4♥ but quickly caught up to his opponent after the board A♠ J♠ 5♦ Q♠ 8♥ gave him top pair.

Utg Jeremy Catalig opened and proceeded to four bet to 670,000 against Choi Jaeki‘s 400,000 three bet. Choi completes and sees flop Q♠ 5♥ 8♥ . Catalig bets all-in for 1,720,000 and Choi snap calls with A♠ Q♣ . Catalig reveals overpair K♣ K♥ , leaving Choi’s top pair crushed. The turn 3♦ and river T♥ does no help as Choi slips down to 5 BB.

Cutoff Nakanishi Hirotaka opened to 120,000 and reshoved all-in for 925,000 vs small blind Choi Jaeki‘s three bet. Choi called off with A♥ 8♦ and is a huge underdog against Nakanishi’s A♦ J♦ . The board Q♠ 4♣ Q♥ J♠ 9♦ ran safe for Nakanishi, earning him a full double up.

Facing an open, button Morikawa Yuta raised all-in and found big blind Chen Jingliang call off his 700,000 with A♦ K♠ . Morikawa shows 7♦ 7♠ for a flip. At risk, Chen easily bagged the double up after landing top pair on A♣ Q♦ 3♠ J♠ 2♣ .

Utg+1 Jose Ruzzel open shoved his last 330,000 in with K♦ T♥ and was called by Jeremy Catalig with A♣ Q♣ for a race. The board ran A♠ Q♥ 3♥ K♥ T♦ quickly giving Catalig two pair to knock his opponent out.

Utg+1 Paulsen Kai opened to 120,000 and saw small blind Kim Michael Enriquez fire a three bet to 370,000. Paulsen answered with another raise to 1,200,000 to which Enriquez made the fold.

Utg+2 Alvir Inocentes open shoved his remaining 475,000 with Q♦ T♠ and was called by small blind John Paul Flores with A♠ T♦ . Dominated, Inocentes found no help on board 5♣ 2♦ K♠ J♣ 8♦ , leaving him to exit the Main Event arena.

Utg Mike Takayama opened to 110,000 and saw Choi Jaeki and the big blind come along on flop T♥ 8♦ 5♣ . Action was checked to Choi who bet 120,000, big blind folds and Takayama makes the call. Turn 3♣ this time, saw Takayama pull a check raise for 615,000. Choi puts him all-in and Takayama calls off for the rest of his 1,170,000 stack.

Utg Seonghun Jeong opened to 110,000 and called the 560,000 more after Chengyu Liao moved all-in. Chengyu shows J♣ J♠ and is up for a flip against Seonghun’s A♦ K♥ . At risk, Chengyu was spared from elimination after none of Seonghun’s overcards appeared on board 5♦ 5♠ Q♥ Q♦ T♦ .

An all-in preflop situation saw Leonard Aban all-in for his remaining 610,000 with Q♥ Q♦ against Sawma Gaby’s Q♣ Q♠ . Both with pocket queens, the board J♣ 9♣ 6♣ 3♣ K♣ gave Aban a crushing beat after it ran all clubs.

Utg Ghanem Michel opened and shortly reraised all-in against Kim Michael Enriquez‘ 275,000 three bet. Enriquez called off for his 1,455,000 stack with A♣ K♥ and is up for against Ghanem’s 9♣ 9♥ . The board ran A♠ 7♣ 5♥ 2♦ J♦ , quickly earning Enriquez top pair for the win.

Folded to cutoff Chengyu Liao, he shoved all-in and found small blind Choi Jaeki call off his entire 980,000 stack with A♣ Q♥ . Chengyu tables 4♦ 3♦ and manages to flop a flush draw on Q♦ T♦ 2♠ T♥ 2♣ . The runout however, bricked, awarding Choi the 2 million pot.

Cutoff Landry Craig open shoved his remaining 400,000 with J♣ 9♣ and was called behind by Sung Hakyoung for her lesser 280,000 stack. Sung is ahead with A♦ K♦ yet was sent out shortly after Landry flopped a flush on T♣ 5♣ 3♣ 9♠ 7♣ .

Hijack Paulsen Kai opened and called off Liu Zhiqiang’s 740,000 all-in with J♠ J♦ . Liu shows A♠ Q♦ and is in need to pair up to survive. Unfortunately for Liu, his opponent landed a boat right on the flop J♥ 4♠ 4♥ 6♦ 4♦ to bust him from the table.

Utg+1 Chengyu Liao opened to 90,000 and was met with two all-ins - Osete Reynaldo (340,000) and Kyung Ho Moon (200,000). Chengyu put in the final call and the three run it down.

Utg+1 Bernard Chua opened and called off his 380,000 stack with 6♥ 6♠ vs Mike Takayama’s all-in. Takayama reveals A♥ A♠ and swiftly went on to knock his opponent out after the board K♦ 3♣ 3♦ K♦ J♦ remained safe for his premium pair.

Utg+2 Shin Hyeonho opened to 55,000 and called Lester Edoc’s jam for 2 BB more with A♥ 7♣ . Edoc shows K♥ T♠ , needing to pair up to survive. The flop A♦ 4♥ 4♦ 6♦ 3♦ quickly came ace high, leaving Edoc eliminated from the table not long after.

Cutoff Renniel Galvez open shoved his last 220,000 with A♦ Q♥ and was called behind by Kim Michael Enriquez with A♥ K♠ . Ahead of his opponent, Enriquez delivered the bust after his top pair on K♦ 6♥ 7♣ 3♣ T♣ sealed the win.

Utg+2 Choi Jaeki opened to 25,000, called by cutoff Anthony Wong along with the big blind. Flop T♠ T♥ J♠ was checked to Wong who bet 75,000. Choi makes the call and heads to turn 8♣ . Choi checks once more, pushing Wong to bet all-in for 185,000. Choi calls off with K♦ Q♠ and has a ton of outs against Wong’s A♥ 9♠ . The river K♣ paired up Choi for the win, leaving Wong out of the Main Event games.

In a massive rumble between Jeremy Catalig and Tetsuya Tsujisaka, Catalig was seen showing down a full house vs two pair to ship a 125 BB pot.

After a crushing blow a few minutes earlier, Christopher Mateo managed to recover after calling off his remaining 105,000 against small blind Arberg Mads Andahl’s jam onto his big blind.

Cutoff opened to 21,000, called by small blind Christopher Mateo. Big blind Morikawa Yuta put in a raise to 95,000 to which only Mateo completed. On flop 7♣ T♠ 3♦ , both stacks went rushing in with Morikawa revealing J♦ J♣ , behind Mateo’s set 7♠ 7♦ . Drawing slim, Morikawa fortunately spiked a runner 8♣ runner 9♥ to land a straight and steal the pot away.

Another all-in preflop situation saw Ron Ryan Mesina (370,00) risk his chance of the Main Event title with K♣ K♥ against Jung Kelvin Hyu-ki’s J♠ J♦ . A huge favorite, Mesina was left in pieces after one of Jung’s two outs showed up on 5♦ J♣ 4♥ 7♥ 4♣ .

Utg Alvir Inocentes opened to 24,000 and called button Murakami Yuta’s 153,000 all-in with A♥ K♥ . Murakami reveals 7♦ 7♥ for a flip. The board came A♣ J♥ 3♦ K♦ 5♥ , quickly giving Inocentes the advantage.

Utg+1 Leonard Aban defended his open and called a 70,000 three bet from Rick Jason Ambata. Both players checked flop T♠ 4♠ A♦ through, heading to turn 7♦ . Checked to Ambata, he bet 40,000 and called his opponent’s raise for 100,000 more. River came another 7♣ to which Aban fired 200,000, Ambata with a final call. Aban shows T♥ T♣ for a full house, crushing Ambata’s A♣ K♠ .

Cutoff Riener Magbutay opened to 20,000 and called off big blind Arberg Mads Andahl’s 187,000 jam with Ax Qx. Arberg is dominated with A♠ T♦ but was spared from elimination after the board K♥ Q♣ J♣ Q♠ 4♠ landed him the nut straight.

Utg Rick Jason Ambata opened to 20,000 and faced a three bet to 65,000 from Alvin Jeff Sembrano. Button Leonard Aban shoved all-in for 336,000, followed with another jam from Ambata to isolate. Sembrano gets out of the way and the two go to showdown.
