The action was checked around on the 8♦ 4♦ 2♠ flop for the players to see the J♦ peel off on the turn.

It was checked to Warhurst who bet out for 15,000. Steven folded and Xu made the call.

The river brought the 9♦, and Xu checked it to Warhurst, who fired out a river bet of 55,000, which was enough to put Xu all in. Three-way to the flop of 9♥ J♠ Q♠ with 25,000 in the pot, Rafael Sitepu Sandhy checked from the big blind to Vikaash Shah in the next seat who bet out for 16,000. Mingyang Zhang called from the cutoff and it was back on Sandhy, who raised for 38,000.

Shah re-raised and he had Zhang covered. Zhang went deep into the tank and used two time banks before he mucked his cards to leave the other two to it.

Li sent his cards into the muck upon seeing it and Steven added to his stack.

Everyone checked on the 9♣ 2♥ 8♠ flop and it was checked again to Bajyyev, who bet 1,100 on the 4♥ turn. Both Loh and Sun called.

Bajyyev sized up for a bet of 5,500 after being checked to on the T♣ river and Loh made a triangle with his hands before moving his last 8,900 into the middle. Sun folded and Bjyyev shrugged before tossing in a call.

Loh revealed Q♣ J♥ for the nut straight and Bajyyev showed he held J♦ 7♦ for a lower straight - awarding the double up to Loh and leaving Bajyyev with just 9,000.

Action checked to Ling, who continued for 1,100 on the A♠ K♦ 5♦ flop. Both Lum and Lau called.

The Q♠ fell on the turn and it was again checked to Ling. This time he sized up for a bet of 5,100, which got a fold from Lum and a call from Lau.

Lau checked a final time on the 4♦ river and Ling moved all in, which was enough to put Lau all in for his last 11,000. Lau tanked a bit before folding and Ling was awarded the pot just before break.

Ong checked again on the T♦ turn and Ulanov barreled 800 into the middle. Ong again called.

The 3♦ completed the board and Ong check-called a hefty 3,000 bet from Ulanov, who tabled T♥ T♠ for a turned full house.

Final Day of Main Event Opening Flights Begins at Noon

With four days of opening flights already played to completion, today marks the final opportunity for players to secure a seat in Event #34: Main Event (MYR 4M GTD). The biggest turnout of the series is expected, with Day 1/K set to kick off at 12 p.m. local time.

Yesterday saw 35 more players lock up seats into Day 2, including the first Dream Bonus qualifier, Shuang Li. After already bagging through Day 1/B, Li returned for Day 1/F and improved his position dramatically, ending the flight with 516,000 chips to take over the overall lead. The first player to qualify for the Dream Bonus, Li has secured a guaranteed MYR 10,000 (~USD 2,500) bonus, plus an additional multiplier based on his chip stack. A total of 67 players have now advanced to Day 2.

Overall Top Ten Chip Leaders (Day 1/A - Day 1/J)

Day 1/K features an MYR 4,800 buy-in (~USD 1,200) and begins at 100/100 blinds with a 100 big-blind ante. Levels will last 40 minutes each, with 15-minute breaks after every three levels for the first two breaks, then after every two levels. There is a scheduled 50-minute dinner break after the completion of level 10 at approximately 7:20 p.m.

Three additional flights will also be available later on, with Day 1/L beginning at 4 p.m., turbo flight Day 1/M starting at 8 p.m., and the hyper-turbo Day 1/N getting underway at 10 p.m. Here's an overview of the remaining Main Event schedule:

All of the survivors across all starting flights will return on Sunday, August 2 at noon to play down to the final 16. The Day 3 finale will get underway on Monday, August 3 at noon, with the remaining contenders battling it out for the Main Event title.

Today marks the last chance for participants to qualify for the Dream Bonus. Any player who bags a second time will automatically receive a MYR 10,000 (~USD 2,500) bonus, along with a multiplier based on the number of chips secured. Bagging a third time or more increases the bonus to MYR 20,000 (~USD 5,000), with an even larger multiplier applied. Players who qualify multiple times will only carry their largest stack forward to Day 2, while all additional stacks will be removed from play.
