China's Ruan Shengyang outlasted the 403 entry field of the Ultra Stack to clinch his first live title and a career high payout of ₩60,350,000 (~US$ 45,735).

Leading up to his victory, Shengyang knocked out four players in succession at the final table, 8th place to 5th place, to rack up two-thirds of the chips in play. With his commanding stack, Shengyang fnished off Zhu Jingxuan in 3rd place with 3♥ 3♦ winning the flip against A♣ 9♣ on a board 7♥ K♥ 2♠ T♥ 3♠ .

At heads up against Yuan Yilu, the overwhelming chip leader Shengyang was up 48 bb to Yuan's 11 bb. It didn't take long for Shengyang claim the win with K♣ Q♦ finding the river on board 6♥ 6♦ 2♥ T♦ K♦ to deny Yuan's A♦ 7♣ .

But then, the turn 8♠ and river 8♦ gave a runner-runner set to Zhi Jingxuan, busting out Wong Ka Fai on the bubble and sending the 12 survivors through to the Deepstack (KRW 100M GTD) Final tomorrow.

Zhu Jingxuan pushed his last 90,000 all-in from the small blind with K♦ 8♠ with Liew Lee Wee defending his big blind with J♠ 8♥. The flop and turn of 7♣ 3♣ 5♦ 2♠ were promising for Jingxuan, but the J♣ on the river landed a hard blow to end his run at 5th place. Liew Lee Wee improves to 670,000 in chips.

William Jia raised his A♣ K♣ to 150,000 at the small blind and called when Zhu Jingxuan pushed all-in with K♠ J♦ at the big blind. The A♦ Q♥ 5♦ flop solidified Jia's lead and the 4♣ 4♥ that completed the board assured the win. William Jia rises to 2,180,000 chips while Zhu Jingxuan gets a beating down to 90,000.

At the end of the break with 6 players remaining, William Jia walked back to his seat as the chip leader with a 1,600,000 stack. Jia's stack took its first big hit against Tianwei Zhang when Jia made a big flop bet, but had to give up the pot when he couldn't call the all-in bet by Zhang on a flop of 2♣ 2♦ 5♦. Tianwei Zhang's stack improved to 1,400,000 while Jia's dwindled to 1,000,000.

On another hand that followed, Jia met Biao Ding's all-in for 770,000. Biao Ding flashed A♣ K♥ that dominated the A♥ J♥ of William Jia. The 6♠ T♠ 7♥ T♦ Q♣ board was of no help and Biao Ding bounced back to 1,615,000 chips. William Jia was reduced to a very critical 180,000.

William Jia took a gamble with his remaining 180,000 with J♥ 7♠, and was called by Zhu Jingxuan from the big blind with 8♥ 4♥ . The board of 9♠ 6♠ 5♠ T♦ T♥ didn't do anything for anyone, and a Jack-high for Jia was enough to double him up from drowning with 410,000 chips. Zhu Jingxuan felt a little prick when his stack went to 1,240,000.

At the next level with blinds at 30,000/60,000 ante 60,000, William Jia pushed the 410,000 all-in with Q♦ Q♠ and was met by an equally short-stacked Yu Jiapeng, who felt confident making the call with K♦ 9♣. The queens stayed alive with a board of J♥ 2♠ 7♣ 5♣ 4♥ and Jia double up to 910,000. Yu Jiapeng was left with 70,000.

Zhu Jingxuan made the call and successfully defended the big blind with J♥ T♥ on a board of J♦ Q♥ 5♦ 6♥ 6♠. Jingxuan's pair of Jacks enough to eliminate Jiang Ming at 12th place for a KRW 2,710,000 (~USD 2,055) payout, which can buy two high quality surfboards.

In the battle of the blinds, William Jia made an all-in play with Q♠ 3♦ which was called by Frederick Sia for his last 200,000 showing A♥ K♣.
