Day 2 of the Korea Poker Cup Main Event started with 149 players taking a seat after the multi qualifiers picked up their bonuses - Hongbo Pan topping that list with three tickets to Day 2 worth an extra KRW 7,500,000 (~$5,258) - and saw almost the maximum 12 levels of play completed when Shuangchun Mou busted in 9th after a preflop all-in with A♣ K♦ against Weiwi Tang's Q♦ Q♣ and a roller coaster board A♥ 3♦ 5♣ Q♥ K♥ that made the Final 8 complete.

Chen Yu Sung bagged the lead after starting the day with 41 BB and first appeared on the leaderboard in 2nd during level 23. From then on, he used his monster stack to bully and knocked out several players along the way which left him with 9,915,000 (99 BB).

2nd in chips Chun Lung Wong started the day as chip leader after dominating Flight D and went on a tear late in the game trading the lead with Chen Yu Sung several times, busting Xiangyu Zhao in 14th and Taiwanese Pro Chi Jen Chu in 10th during the last level. He will start the final day almost equal to the lead with 9,700,000 (97 BB)

Weiwi Tang came in 3rd with 7,220,000 (72 BB), ending the day by eliminating Shuangchun Mou in 9th - adding almost 30 big blinds on the buzzer.

Sin Lan Chen - the last woman standing - is the only one with a medium stack of 39 BB, who will be feeling the ICM pressure the most with four players having 18 BB or less among the Final 8.

The final will begin tomorrow Sunday the 13th of April at 12:30 local.

With two bigger pairs on 9♣ 2♥ T♠ 9♥ T♥ Xu's eight loses against Qin's ace.

Yuan Qin gets us going with a min raise from the cutoff and button Yikang Xu flats before big blind Chen Yu Sung lays out the winning bet of 450,000.

Yuan Qin opens 125,000 from the cutoff, but lets it go after former chip leader Sin Lan Chen moved all-in for 895,000.

The action folds to Shen Syu Ho in the small blind who limps, Yuan Qin ups it to 47,000, Ho puts out a 108,000 three-bet, but snap folds after Qin moved all-in.
