The last of five flights for the KPC Main Event with the KRW 800,000,000 (~$544,077) guaranteed prize pool well eclipsed by the grand total of KRW 1,393,660,000 (~$977,109) had 203 entries and 25 punching a last minute ticket to Day 2 tomorrow at 12:00 local.

Tao Li gapped the field with 607,000 - good for 3rd overall - after being down to 13 BBs just a few hands before the end. He first tripled up with Q♥ Q♦ against Zhao Hongjun's 3♥ 3♠ who isolated preflop and then doubled up against Hye Keun Park who was chip leader at the time with A♠ 7♠ against A♦ K♥ by hitting the 7♣ on the river.

Tsz Hin Cheung finished 2nd with 434,000 aided by a last minute double up against Tony Lin and Bo Jin bagged 410,000 in third, after busting Xinxing Tang on the money bubble. Also locking up last chance tickets were KPC Main Event champion Joris Michl, Ren Lin, and Chi Jen Chu.

Day 2 will start tomorrow, Saturday the 12th of April at 12:00.
