After 16 levels of play and topping a field of 73, Yu Han Su bags the biggest stack of the day at a whopping 486,000, aided by two last minute knockouts of Zi-Wei Tung and Zhang Congya adding a total of 20 big blinds to her stack.


Runner-up with 272,000 is Joseph Wung Hyun Kim after knocking out Hao Wang simultaneously to the bubble with A 8 against 7 7 and hitting a boat on the flop. Yunpeng Bai, who banked his biggest live cash of $25,327 a few months ago in Macau by finishing 6th in the MGM Millionaire Maker, came in as a distant third and will start Day 2 with 209,000 in chips.


Day 2 begins later at 12:00 noon local on the 8th of April with the blinds scaled back to level 14 and 30min on the clock to crown a winner out of the 47 remaining contenders.

Under the gun Zi-Wei Tung min raises to 12,000 and fills up after hijack Yu Han Su pumped it to 33,000 to see the flop K J 5 where Su forks out a 20,000 c-bet. Tung calls, the turn falls 7 and both players check to the river T where Tung takes over the reins with a 101,000 jam holding A Q straight, but has to surrender the pot to Su when she calls and flips over A Q flush.
