Runner-up with 272,000 is Joseph Wung Hyun Kim after knocking out Hao Wang simultaneously to the bubble with A♥ 8♦ against 7♠ 7♦ and hitting a boat on the flop. Yunpeng Bai, who banked his biggest live cash of $25,327 a few months ago in Macau by finishing 6th in the MGM Millionaire Maker, came in as a distant third and will start Day 2 with 209,000 in chips.

Day 2 begins later at 12:00 noon local on the 8th of April with the blinds scaled back to level 14 and 30min on the clock to crown a winner out of the 47 remaining contenders.

Harder comes out of the gates swinging when the dealer flips over Q♠ T♣ 2♦, but is reduced to four outs after the dealer reveals the turn J♣ , can't hit any of them on the river 6♣ and becomes the last elimination of the day.

Joseph Wung Hyun Kim opens 24,000 from the button, Hao Wang declares all-in for 79,000 from the big blind with 7♠ 7♦ and Kim snaps with A♥ 8♦ . The dealer makes short work of Wang by dealing A♦ A♠ 8♠ 4♣ 7♥ and puts Kim among the big stacks.

Under the gun Zi-Wei Tung min raises to 12,000 and fills up after hijack Yu Han Su pumped it to 33,000 to see the flop K♠ J♠ 5♥ where Su forks out a 20,000 c-bet. Tung calls, the turn falls 7♠ and both players check to the river T♠ where Tung takes over the reins with a 101,000 jam holding A♥ Q♦ straight, but has to surrender the pot to Su when she calls and flips over A♦ Q♠ flush.

Flight C will conclude when we have 10 players remaining, completing the lineup for Day 2.
