The J♠ T♣ 8♣ 3♦ 9♣ runout gave both players a straight, but Chen’s queen-high version earned him the double through Liu.

In the very next hand, Xiaoyu Li shoved for 1,300,000 and Liu made the call once more. Li’s ace-jack stayed ahead of Liu’s king-queen, doubling again as the board ran out 3♣ J♠ 2♣ 3♥ A♣.

Abhijith Cheruku got the remainder of his ~900,000-chip stack in and was called by Yi Liu, who looked to add to his already towering stack:

Disaster for Cheruku, as Liu paired his five on the T♦ 5♦ J♠ flop. No help arrived on the 3♦ J♣ turn or river, and Cheruku was eliminated in 7th place.

Alan Zheng raised to 550,000 and was shoved for his remaining ~600,000 by Dingxiang Ong, and cards went on their backs:

Zheng's jacks held on the 5♣ T♣ A♠ 8♣ T♥ runout, sending Ong out in 8th place.

Dingxiang Ong shoved from under the gun for around 2,000,000 and was called by button Dong Chen, putting himself at risk:

Chen paired his queen on the 5♠ Q♦ 2♥ T♠ board, then found an ace on the river for good measure, securing a full double through Ong.

After losing a previous hand that doubled up Alan Zheng, Lei Yu was left with just 175,000 and was automatically all-in via the blinds.

Yi Liu raised to 700,000 and was three-bet by Dong Chen, which Liu called before the hands were revealed:

Chen looked like the early favourite, but that changed quickly when the 3♥ K♦ K♣ flop hit the felt. The 9♣ and 4♥ completed the board, doubling Liu up through Chen for 4,625,000 and eliminating Yu in 9th place.

Alan Zheng moved all in for 675,000 and was called by Dong Chen, both in the blinds:

Chen was feeling good on the 4♣ 2♥ J♣ flop, but as the 9♥ 5♥ completed the board he shipped over the small portion of his stack to Chen.

In the next hand, after Renji Mao have Joseph Cheong a good luck token, Dong moved all-in and Cheong called:

Joseph Cheong had ace-five, versus Dong's queen-ten.

The J♣ K♥ 2♣ 8♣ A♥ runout gave Dong the straight and sent Cheong to the payout desk.

"Not so lucky" Cheong said with a smile as he left the table.

Small blind Dingxiang Ong moved all in and was called by big blind Dingxiang Ong to put himself at risk:

The board ran out clean for king-high, with the dealer placing Q♦ Q♥ 8♦ 7♣ 8♠ onto the felt.

Button Chun Kit Kwan raised to 225,000 and small blind Iulian Blebea moved all-in after using a few timebanks for 680,000; Kwan called and they tabled their hands:

Kwan couldn't have asked for a better flop, as the T♦ K♠ A♦ landed on the felt. The 2♠ 6♦ turn and river were a formality, and Blebea was eliminated.

After a series of short-stack double-ups on the soft bubble from the remaining three tables, Renhao Feng moved all in for the remainder of his ~980,000-chip stack. Not afraid of a battle, having been pretty active during hand-for-hand, Dingxiang Ong made the call, and the floor instructed them to reveal their hands:

Feng was looking likely to burst the bubble, and received no help from the dealer as she ran out the 8♦ J♦ 5♦ 5♠ 9♠ board, officially eliminating him in 18th place and leaving all remaining players a guaranteed $20,000 cash.

Button Iulian Blebea shoved for around 1,200,000 and small blind Martin Sedlak called to put himself at risk:

The 2♦ 2♥ 8♣ 4♦ 6♠ runout was clean for ace-high, doubling Sedlak up through Blebea.

Renji Mao got the last of his 90,000 chips into the middle and was called by Abhijith Cheruku:

Mao was already out of his seat by the time the T♥ Q♥ 4♠ J♦ 5♠ runout was completed, eliminating him just a few places from the money.

Tony Ren Lin raised to 100,000 from middle position and was three-bet shoved to 470,000 by Dingxiang Ong on the button. Lin didn’t take long to call and the hands were tabled:

"How much do you love me, baby?" Lin said as the dealer prepared to run out the board.

Ong’s sevens held on the 6♣ K♣ 9♦ 4♣ Q♦ runout, leaving Lin short-stacked.

On a board showing 4♦ J♦ 9♣ 2♣, cutoff Xiang Lu moved the remainder of his 820,000-chip stack into the middle, with UTG player Yi Liu calling with the covering stack:

Liu needed a diamond to knock out Lu, but no such luck arrived on the 8♠ river, securing the double for Lu.

Tsz Kin Heung raised to 80,000 from the cutoff and big blind Yang Li called.

Li check-called Heung's 60,000 continuation bet on the 5♣ 9♥ A♣ flop.

On the 8♠ turn, Li led out for 90,000 and Heung called.

The 3♥ completed the board and Li moved 110,000 into the middle. Heung tanked for a short while before tossing in the call to see the good news. His A♠ 8♥ made the superior two pair to Li's A♠ 5♥, drawing some laughs from the table.

Renhao Feng raised to 85,000 from under the gun and found three callers: Xiaoyu Li in middle position, Lin Alp in the cutoff, and Li Liu in the big blind.

Liu checked the 8♣ 8♦ 7♦ flop, and Feng fired 150,000. Li folded before Alp raised to 350,000, forcing folds from both Liu and Feng to take down the pot.

Button Tony Ren Lin raised to 60,000 and received a call from Dingxiang Ong in the big blind.

Both checked the 6♦ 7♠ 7♥ Q♣ flop and turn. The 2♠ landed on the river, and Ong check-folded when Lin fired 135,000 into the middle.

In the next hand, Abhijith Cheruku raised to 60,000 from under the gun and received a call from button Quan Zhou.

Both checked the J♥ K♠ 4♦ flop to see the 4♣ turn, where Cheruku slid 70,000 into the middle. Zhou took his time before counting out a raise to 145,000. Cheruku went deep into the tank but ultimately decided to fold.

The tournament director has confirmed that 17 places will be paid (16% ITM), with the winner taking the lion’s share of the USD 960,100 prize pool.

Small blind Chuan Yang shoved for his remaining ~150,000 chips, and big blind Martin Sedlak called with the covering stack:

Sedlak surged ahead on the Q♠ 9♦ 2♥ flop and stayed there as the 9♥ K♥ completed the board, sending Yang to the rail.

Hon Cheong Lee raised to 30,000 from the cutoff and was called only by button Ying Song.

Lee checked when the Q♦ K♦ 8♠ flop hit the felt. Song counted out 40,000 and slid it into the middle, prompting a swift fold from Lee.

Christian William Steven Harder raised to 25,000 from the cutoff and big blind Benjamin Wu called.

Wu checked on the 3♣ A♠ J♣ flop; Harder fired 16,000 into the middle, prompting a swift fold from Wu.

Yi Liu raised to 12,000 from the button and was called by both blinds, Yita Choong and Xiang Lu.

Both blinds check-folded when Liu fired 25,000 following the Q♥ A♣ 8♠ flop, and Liu added to his ever-growing stack.

With the commencement of Level 11, registration for the Single Day Super High Roller has now officially closed.

The total prize pool came to USD 960,057.50, just shy of the seven-figure mark.

From 107 total entries (71 unique), 61 players remain in contention. ITM figures and payouts will be posted shortly.

Players are now on a 60-minute dinner break. So far, the event has attracted 101 entries (70 unique), with registration set to close at the end of the break.

The prize pool currently sits at USD 915,195, with plenty of potential to push past the million-dollar mark.

Ryan Plant opened to 20,000 from under the gun and received a sole call from Li Liu in the big blind.

Liu check-called Plant's 15,000 bet following the 9♠ A♣ 7♦ flop.

Action checked through the 8♠ turn to the T♣ river, where Liu checked. Plant pushed 54,000 into the middle, prompting a fold from Liu and taking a sizeable hit to her stack.

Hand 1

Button Renji Mao raised to 16,000, then folded to small blind Dingxiang Ong’s 64,000 three-bet.

Hand 2

Quan Zhou raised to 40,000 from middle position and was called by small blind Hon Cheong Lee.

Lee check-called Zhou’s shove for his last 8,000 on the 7♥ 5♠ 3♣ flop:

The A♣ landed on the turn, and Zhou exited as the 2♦ completed the board. A short while later, he was seen re-entering.

Lee raised to 16,000 from the button and took the pot uncontested.

Mao raised to 16,000 from under the gun, and every player at the table except Ong called.

Action checked through the Q♦ 8♥ 7♣ J♦ 5♥ runout, with small blind Chenyun Zhang showing pocket twos and big blind Yandong Guo holding K♦ 5♦, but Mao took the pot with K♥ J♠.

Renhao Feng raised to 25,000 from middle position and was called by cutoff Shaoliang Luo.

Both checked the 2♦ 3♠ K♠ flop to the 2♠ turn, where Feng check-folded to Luo's 25,000 bet.

A few hands later, Feng was eliminated.

Cutoff Ryan Plant got his ~185,000-chip stack into the middle and was called by hijack Xiang Lu:

Disaster for Plant as Lu flopped top pair with 4♦ 4♥ Q♠. To add insult to injury, the dealer completed the board with A♣ A♠, giving Lu a full house and sending Plant to the rail.

Weiran Pu raised to 12,000 from middle position and received calls from button Jimmy Guerrero, small blind Ming Cai, and big blind Joseph Cheong, sending them four-ways to the flop.

Both blinds check-called Pu’s 25,000 continuation bet on the 8♦ 2♦ 7♣ flop, with Guerrero sticking around as well.

Action repeated on the K♣ turn, with Pu firing 51,000.

Cai, Cheong, and Pu all checked the 2♦ river, but Guerrero moved all-in for around 80,000. Both blinds folded, and Pu called, showing J♥ J♣ to Guerrero’s T♠ 9♠. Pu scooped the huge pot, leaving Guerrero with around 10,000 in chips.

On the next hand, Guerrero moved all-in from the cutoff, called by button Cai and initially by Hao Tian from under the gun.

The 9♦ Q♣ K♥ flop saw Tian check-call Cai’s 25,000 bet.

On the 8♠ turn, Cai fired 100,000, and Tian got out of the way. Guerrero and Cai revealed their hands:

“We have a chance,” Guerrero said, hoping for a three on the river.

It didn’t come. The J♣ completed the board, sending Guerrero to the rail.

Meng Ling Lin raised to 10,000 from middle position and was called by big blind Chun Kit Kwan.

Both checked the 4♥ 6♠ 8♣ flop to see the 2♦ turn, where Kwan check-called Lin’s 13,000 bet.

When the K♦ completed the board, Kwan checked, and Lin checked behind to show K♥ Q♦ for a rivered top pair. Kwan revealed Q♣ 2♣, shipping the pot to Lin.

Small blind Chun Kit Kwan and big blind Joshua McCully got it all in preflop, with McCully at risk:

Disaster for McCully, as the 4♦ 7♣ A♦ A♥ 7♦ runout gave Kwan trip aces, sending McCully to the rail and the stack over to Kwan.

The KRW 14,300,000 (~USD 10,000) Single Day High Roller event has drawn 70 entries so far (61 unique), creating a prize pool approaching USD 700,000. With four levels left before registration closes at level 10, the field could swell a bit more, but it’s unlikely to hit seven figures.

Haohui Ma raised to 8,000 from middle position and was called by cutoff Renhao Feng and big blind Chuan Yang.

Yang fired 11,000 on the 6♣ 3♣ 9♣ flop, with both players calling.

On the A♦ turn, Yang checked, and Ma shoved 27,000 into the middle, forcing both Yang and Feng to fold and raking in the pot.

On a completed board of 7♠ 9♣ 6♣ 8♠ 2♣, cutoff Hao Tian had moved the last of his 100,000-chip stack into the middle against small blind Michel Henri Girard Hugues.

Hugues pondered the decision before ultimately tossing in the call:

Flush over flush ended Tian’s run, but with five more levels before registration closes, he still has plenty of time to get back involved.

Xiushen Wei limped from middle position, then folded to Yi Liu’s 20,000 raise in the next seat over.

In the following hand, cutoff Ranhao Feng raised to 6,000 and was called by big blind Wei.

Both players checked the J♥ T♣ 4♥ flop. The 9♣ landed on the turn, and Wei check-raised Feng’s 6,000 bet to 18,000, which Feng called.

The 9♦ completed the board, and Wei led out for 30,000. Feng tanked for a while, using a timebank before tossing in the call.

Wei turned over K♥ Q♦ for a turned straight, while Feng could only muck.

Hand 1

UTG Dong Chen raised to 5,500 and big blind Zang Shunu defended.

Both players checked through the A♥ 9♠ T♥ T♦ 5♥ runout, before Shunu folded his cards immediately after checking, either anticipating Chen reaching for chips or simply aware he was holding air and saving time on a showdown.

Hand 2

UTG Hao Tian raised to 6,500 then called Yang Li’s 15,500 three-bet from the next seat over.

Tian check-folded to Li’s 7,000 bet following the A♣ Q♥ 8♣ flop.

Hand 3

Hijack Haohui Ma raised to 5,500 and was called by button Chen and small blind Li Liu.

Liu check-folded after Ma fired 7,000 on the K♦ J♦ 7♥ flop, with Chen sticking around for the call.

Both checked the A♥ turn to see the J♦ river, where Ma fired 25,500. Chen thought for a moment before tossing in the call, mucking when he saw Ma’s Q♦ J♣ for rivered trips.

Small blind Xiang Lu raised to 4,000 and was called by big blind defender Quan Zhou.

The dealer fanned the 4♥ 2♠ 6♦ flop; Lu slid 6,000 into the middle, and it didn't take long for Zhou to return his cards to the dealer.

After completing in the small blind, RD Expedition Heads-Up Winner Lei Yu called a 6,000 raise from Jinjiang Zhang in the big.

Yu check-called Zhang’s 6,000 continuation bet on the 8♣ 2♥ 9♥ flop.

Both players checked the 6♦ turn to see the 4♦ river, where Yu led out for 21,000. Zhang thought it over for a moment before ultimately tossing in the call, mucking when he saw Yu’s A♥ 9♠ for top pair.

The KPC Single Day Super High Roller is officially underway, kicking off at 14:00 p.m. local time with a KRW 14,300,000 (~USD 10,000) buy-in. Players start with a 100,000 stack, and registration will remain open until the end of Level 10.
