Players are now on a 60-minute dinner break. So far, the event has attracted 101 entries (70 unique), with registration set to close at the end of the break.

The prize pool currently sits at USD 915,195, with plenty of potential to push past the million-dollar mark.

Ryan Plant opened to 20,000 from under the gun and received a sole call from Li Liu in the big blind.

Liu check-called Plant's 15,000 bet following the 9♠ A♣ 7♦ flop.

Action checked through the 8♠ turn to the T♣ river, where Liu checked. Plant pushed 54,000 into the middle, prompting a fold from Liu and taking a sizeable hit to her stack.

Hand 1

Button Renji Mao raised to 16,000, then folded to small blind Dingxiang Ong’s 64,000 three-bet.

Hand 2

Quan Zhou raised to 40,000 from middle position and was called by small blind Hon Cheong Lee.

Lee check-called Zhou’s shove for his last 8,000 on the 7♥ 5♠ 3♣ flop:

Hon Cheong Lee: A♠ 9♦

The A♣ landed on the turn, and Zhou exited as the 2♦ completed the board. A short while later, he was seen re-entering.

Hand 3

Lee raised to 16,000 from the button and took the pot uncontested.

Hand 4

Mao raised to 16,000 from under the gun, and every player at the table except Ong called.

Action checked through the Q♦ 8♥ 7♣ J♦ 5♥ runout, with small blind Chenyun Zhang showing pocket twos and big blind Yandong Guo holding K♦ 5♦, but Mao took the pot with K♥ J♠.

Renhao Feng raised to 25,000 from middle position and was called by cutoff Shaoliang Luo.

Both checked the 2♦ 3♠ K♠ flop to the 2♠ turn, where Feng check-folded to Luo's 25,000 bet.

A few hands later, Feng was eliminated.

Cutoff Ryan Plant got his ~185,000-chip stack into the middle and was called by hijack Xiang Lu:

Disaster for Plant as Lu flopped top pair with 4♦ 4♥ Q♠. To add insult to injury, the dealer completed the board with A♣ A♠, giving Lu a full house and sending Plant to the rail.

Weiran Pu raised to 12,000 from middle position and received calls from button Jimmy Guerrero, small blind Ming Cai, and big blind Joseph Cheong, sending them four-ways to the flop.

Both blinds check-called Pu’s 25,000 continuation bet on the 8♦ 2♦ 7♣ flop, with Guerrero sticking around as well.

Action repeated on the K♣ turn, with Pu firing 51,000.

Cai, Cheong, and Pu all checked the 2♦ river, but Guerrero moved all-in for around 80,000. Both blinds folded, and Pu called, showing J♥ J♣ to Guerrero’s T♠ 9♠. Pu scooped the huge pot, leaving Guerrero with around 10,000 in chips.

On the next hand, Guerrero moved all-in from the cutoff, called by button Cai and initially by Hao Tian from under the gun.

The 9♦ Q♣ K♥ flop saw Tian check-call Cai’s 25,000 bet.

On the 8♠ turn, Cai fired 100,000, and Tian got out of the way. Guerrero and Cai revealed their hands:

“We have a chance,” Guerrero said, hoping for a three on the river.

It didn’t come. The J♣ completed the board, sending Guerrero to the rail.

Meng Ling Lin raised to 10,000 from middle position and was called by big blind Chun Kit Kwan.

Both checked the 4♥ 6♠ 8♣ flop to see the 2♦ turn, where Kwan check-called Lin’s 13,000 bet.

When the K♦ completed the board, Kwan checked, and Lin checked behind to show K♥ Q♦ for a rivered top pair. Kwan revealed Q♣ 2♣, shipping the pot to Lin.

Small blind Chun Kit Kwan and big blind Joshua McCully got it all in preflop, with McCully at risk:

Disaster for McCully, as the 4♦ 7♣ A♦ A♥ 7♦ runout gave Kwan trip aces, sending McCully to the rail and the stack over to Kwan.

The KRW 14,300,000 (~USD 10,000) Single Day High Roller event has drawn 70 entries so far (61 unique), creating a prize pool approaching USD 700,000. With four levels left before registration closes at level 10, the field could swell a bit more, but it’s unlikely to hit seven figures.

Haohui Ma raised to 8,000 from middle position and was called by cutoff Renhao Feng and big blind Chuan Yang.

Yang fired 11,000 on the 6♣ 3♣ 9♣ flop, with both players calling.

On the A♦ turn, Yang checked, and Ma shoved 27,000 into the middle, forcing both Yang and Feng to fold and raking in the pot.

On a completed board of 7♠ 9♣ 6♣ 8♠ 2♣, cutoff Hao Tian had moved the last of his 100,000-chip stack into the middle against small blind Michel Henri Girard Hugues.

Hugues pondered the decision before ultimately tossing in the call:

Flush over flush ended Tian’s run, but with five more levels before registration closes, he still has plenty of time to get back involved.

Xiushen Wei limped from middle position, then folded to Yi Liu’s 20,000 raise in the next seat over.

In the following hand, cutoff Ranhao Feng raised to 6,000 and was called by big blind Wei.

Both players checked the J♥ T♣ 4♥ flop. The 9♣ landed on the turn, and Wei check-raised Feng’s 6,000 bet to 18,000, which Feng called.

The 9♦ completed the board, and Wei led out for 30,000. Feng tanked for a while, using a timebank before tossing in the call.

Wei turned over K♥ Q♦ for a turned straight, while Feng could only muck.

Hand 1

UTG Dong Chen raised to 5,500 and big blind Zang Shunu defended.

Both players checked through the A♥ 9♠ T♥ T♦ 5♥ runout, before Shunu folded his cards immediately after checking, either anticipating Chen reaching for chips or simply aware he was holding air and saving time on a showdown.

Hand 2

UTG Hao Tian raised to 6,500 then called Yang Li’s 15,500 three-bet from the next seat over.

Tian check-folded to Li’s 7,000 bet following the A♣ Q♥ 8♣ flop.

Hand 3

Hijack Haohui Ma raised to 5,500 and was called by button Chen and small blind Li Liu.

Liu check-folded after Ma fired 7,000 on the K♦ J♦ 7♥ flop, with Chen sticking around for the call.

Both checked the A♥ turn to see the J♦ river, where Ma fired 25,500. Chen thought for a moment before tossing in the call, mucking when he saw Ma’s Q♦ J♣ for rivered trips.

Small blind Xiang Lu raised to 4,000 and was called by big blind defender Quan Zhou.

The dealer fanned the 4♥ 2♠ 6♦ flop; Lu slid 6,000 into the middle, and it didn't take long for Zhou to return his cards to the dealer.

After completing in the small blind, RD Expedition Heads-Up Winner Lei Yu called a 6,000 raise from Jinjiang Zhang in the big.

Yu check-called Zhang’s 6,000 continuation bet on the 8♣ 2♥ 9♥ flop.

Both players checked the 6♦ turn to see the 4♦ river, where Yu led out for 21,000. Zhang thought it over for a moment before ultimately tossing in the call, mucking when he saw Yu’s A♥ 9♠ for top pair.

The KPC Single Day Super High Roller is officially underway, kicking off at 14:00 p.m. local time with a KRW 14,300,000 (~USD 10,000) buy-in. Players start with a 100,000 stack, and registration will remain open until the end of Level 10.

With 20-minute levels and plenty of talent in the field, expect fast-paced action and no shortage of big pots as the day unfolds.
